Fort Collins, CO Italian Restaurants - Fort Collins, CO Restaurants 08/13/08: 'Great people run this place'

A little pretentious, but this is still a fun place. Medium to high price, and medium to small portions. But the owner and the wait staff more than make up for any negatives - very fun people and they care about providing top notch service. And the back of the house is just as good! Food is superb.

Fort Collins, CO Liquor Stores - Fort Collins, CO Cigar Cigarette & Tobacco Dealers 08/13/08: 'if location is important.'

All I can say is ... if you're in a hurry and don't want to drive across town to a really good wine store, then this is the place. Prices are average, help is a touch surly, but I think I saved $4 in gas on my recent beer purchase.

Fort Collins, CO Real Estate Agents 08/13/08: 'Buying or selling a house?'

This company has so many fine real estate brokers - its hard to recommend just one. The Drake office has superb management, and that is seen daily in how they handle real estate problems and how they train their agents. Training brokers and keeping them up to date with changing laws is key to running a good company, and this office seems to to it better than most. Knowledge is power and I respect so many of the people in this office.

Fort Collins, CO Home Builders 08/13/08: 'Like Craftsman style?'

I've only seen three houses by this builder, but if you value Craftsman design and craftsman-like workmanship, you really need to talk with this company. These houses seem like a good value for the money, and well-built. I really like the design.

Loveland, CO Home Builders 08/13/08: 'Buying a new home?'

I've never met this builder, but I've seen plenty of his homes. These are well built homes with very good designs, and at a reasonable price. This builder is active in all price ranges and several different nice subdivisions.

I am a real estate appraiser, so I see every builder's new homes, many times when they are under construction, and that is where you can see what kind of quality the house really is. I can't tell you how shoddy some of the national production builders are, and it always makes me wonder - why go with one of those when you have such a good local builder, with an outstanding reputation. G. Bever is a good, solid builder, and you will get a good, solid value!

Classic Custom Builders

Fort Collins, CO Home Builders 08/13/08: 'One of the best!'

I know how difficult it is to pick a builder - who's good, who can you trust, whose price is reasonable? Classic Custom is the answer to all of these questions. I've been seeing Ray Spencer's work for over 15 years, and I am impressed with his integrity, workmanship, and caring. Having been in the business 38 years ago, I think I know quality and value when I see it. Ray is very knowledgeable and keeps up with what is new in the market.

Potbelly Deli & Bar

Red Feather Lakes, CO Delis - Red Feather Lakes, CO Bars & Clubs 08/13/08: 'The best place for miles'

This is truly the best place for miles. (Just watch out for off duty Greeley police officers who think they're above the law). A change of owners a few years ago did this place a world of good - it's clean now, and the food is much better. This is a fun place to drop into for a cheeseburger.

Trail Head Tavern

Fort Collins, CO Bars & Clubs 08/13/08: 'Rather Average'

A friend of mine took me to this place, saying they had great food. My steak was marginal at best - I think I'd rather for to the Outback. But the guys who own the place are nice, and if you can't get in at the Rio, walk across the street to this place.

Fort Collins, CO Pub Restaurants - Fort Collins, CO Bars & Clubs 08/13/08: 'Just what you want in a bar.'

Probably the closest thing to Cheers in Fort Collins. This place has good food, and live music downstairs. Right in the heart of downtown, so parking is scarce, but this is a good place at a reasonable price.
