It's in a small shopping center, across from the BART station, so you can pick up something for dinner or breakfast, as you get off the train.
This is an almost-downtown kennel that has been around for years. It's fairly modern, and there is a built-in grooming service (Four Paws Grooming, where you dog can be groomed/bathed, to be spanking clean and beautiful, when you return home.

This is a local pizza place that started in Clayton, and has spread through the county, almost 30 years old. They pizzas are New York style. The atmosphere is great, and there's room for children to play while waiting for their pies. There is indoor and patio dining, and they do catering. When you are there for a meal, everyone feels like family.
This is one of two restaurants of the same name in Contra Costa County. They offer hot and cold sandwiches, many burgers, soups, salads, desserts, and hot meals. The BLT&G (bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado) is delicious, but almost too big for a meal. The service is good, and there is plenty of parking.
Close to the Walnut Creek Courthouse, this can be very busy at noon, with jurors going out to eat. They offer sandwiches and hot dishes that are very good, but the service can be a bit slow. Though has come from the original Casper's Hot Dogs in Oakland, they have changed the spelling. One man handles the customers, and the hot dogs or Polish dogs are excellent. And there are all sorts of items you can get on your dog. Other than hot dogs, you can only get sodas, potato chips and cookies.

The waitresses are from the old school, polite, helpful and quick. And there are a bunch of things you can have on your hot dog. Other than hot dogs, there are sodas, milkshakes, potato chips, and cookies. I've never met anyone who was not satisfied with their order.
This company puts up awnings, patio covers, and does Florida/patio Rooms. The materials they use are manufactured locally, and their work is quick and neat. They can put specialized floors in, that contain heating pipes. They are detail-oriented, and make a great product.
