What a great little shop if you need some new DNC threads or some silk threads for your embroidery or cross-stitch projects. I am thankful that there are still a few specialty shops around for those items you cannot find at a local retail store. A place I will continue to use!
Here is a drive through mini mart where you can go to get cigarettes, papers, or soda. The folks are fast and friendly. You don't have to get out of your car to get what you need. Great flow to get back out to the street and on your way!
KC's is a drive through cigarette shop. They are a bit high on their prices but they are fast and friendly. The way that Portales is set up, they are the easiest place to get in and out of on your way through Portales.
The cost of everything has gone so high that it is great to find a place that does everything it can to keep costs low. Cigarette Express has a drive through window. They are fast and very friendly! Get a Pepsi or a water to quench your thirst while you are there. These folks are fantastic!
I was looking for thresholds for my carpet. I had done some repair work and needed new ones. I went to Terry's and the gentleman that served me was fantastic. I was making a 10 dollar purchase and he treated me like someone who was making a 100 dollar purchase. The store is easy to see, neat, great parking, and the service people are top rate!
I hurt my shoulder and could not use my arm. I went to Dr. George to see what the problem was. He was very nice and after all of the tests, recommended that I have surgery to fix a tear in my rotator cuff. I just did not feel comfortable with this, so went to a different doctor for a second opinion. I am so glad I did. I never did have to have surgery and my arm was completely healed within four weeks. I believe that Dr. George is a competent doctor, but if he recommends surgery, get a second opinion!
Triangle Home Center does a lot of business with local contractors but is still a great place to get the supplies you need if you are a self builder! They are located on Prince and have great parking. The inside of the store is very organized and the folks who work there are quick to lend a hand. The prices are a little higher than some of the other places in town, but it's location makes it the fastest place to go to get what you need! They also have great sales!!
Holland's Office Equipment is a locally owned business set in a great part of town. They are easy to get to and the traffic is not jammed up in that area. Holland's usually has all the supplies you need and will do custom orders. They are friendly folks! They are a little pricey, so if you are on a limited budget, you may want to price compare first.
Clovis Safety Lane is easy to miss. It is in a group of buildings on 7th street and if you don't catch their sign you have to go back around and look again. But the inside of the building is very clean an organized. I had to have my car aligned and they did a good job. The service was fast and the cost reasonable. This is a place worth looking for.
Dave's Coachcraft does beautiful work. The restoration on the cars I have seen made me take my car in for an estimate. He wanted to total my car. Then came up with a price that took my breath away. As good as the work is that he does, I had to take my vehicle elsewhere. If you can afford his work, then here is a great place to go!
