Love the BBQ nachos, Lot's o beer choices, a historic location, and the best Rueben in Raleigh. Excellent pimento cheese sandwiches! Perfect mix of hip and casual. Cheap beer and expensive beer. Drinking establishment and dining establishment. I can take my boss and I can take my hippest of friends.
The Tavern is in the basement of Second Empire. It's more casual but you can order from both menus. The foie gras is phenomenal. A great place for a romantic evening!!
Best Place in town for dogs, burgers, and fries.Hungover? Love Hockey? Want a HotDog? This is your place. Grab a slider while you're there. Friday afternoon beer specials with the frat bros best hotdog in raleigh
The fish is good, the food is innovative. The staff, from the owner/chef to the waiters, make it an enjoyable meal! Great Appetizers, and very decent view. Great value for the quality.
Pasta Faire has always been my first choice in Italian food, for Belleview, Fl. Their wood burning oven, adds great flavor to their pizza's, calzones and chicken.
If you're a salad person and enjoy a salad of quite a mixture. Their Carribbean Salad is quite popular. It has fruit, cooked jerk chicken in a poppy seed dressing. It's very delicious! It has iceberg lettuce .. if they switched that up to darker greens the salad would borderline perfection!
I'd definitely reccomend this place to anyone visiting from out of town!
We enjoyed a great dinner here recently (August 22nd). My husband was told of this restaurant from someone he works with that visits the Peoria area quite often. Not only was it a delicious meal but very reasonably priced. There are about 4-5 restaurants in this area and this was the busiest by far. The service was excellent to boot
My son and I stayed here for our family reunion held at Branched Oak. I'm not 'into' camping and cannot find my way around Lincoln (born & raised in Omaha!) so this location was perfect because it's right on the edge of town and right next to the interstate. We had a much nicer experience than many of the other reviewers here. Our room was cleaned very nicely every day (we stayed for 3 nights) and the beds were extremely comfortable. My son usually spends the nights camping at the reunion but he said his bed was too comfortable and he skipped out on the campfire for the bed. Our toilet did have an issue on the last morning as we were packing up so I can't comment on how hard that would have been to deal with getting up & running. The front desk was ok. I thought they could be a little more friendly/sociable but they certainly weren't rude. One last note, my son realized he'd left the power cord to his X-box in the room. I called the hotel and the girl at the front desk went up ot the room, which was vacant, immediately, called me back and will have it mailed to us tomorrow. She had excellent customer service and I was extremely satisfied. We did not use the pool or eat at the breakfast so I can't comment on the quality of either, but I do like that the pool had swim time for adults only. We will definitely be staying again.
I stayed at this hotel for a week as they are a long term place to stay and charge by the week. I was surprised at how nice everyone was. They dont have a pool, or anything like that but they have an inhouse laundry room that is farily large and very clean. The room had a small kitchen and a fairly good sized bathroom. You can fit five people in the shower! Everything was clean, even the hallways. It wasn't noisy either. The place is close to the interstate and several fast food and regular restaurants.
It's not a fancy place. But everything looks new and clean and doesn't stink. It was a good place to stay while I was in Lincoln for a week.
Best fresh coffee and juice Clean and quiet, this is a place I'll surely return to if I ever need to pass through Lincoln again. They definetely know how to make coffee!
I don't know if this place still serves food, but one of the great downtown lounges to enjoy a cocktail. Look up from your seat 3 floors to the old stage backdrop of the Stuart Theatre.
