If you want to see how the other 1/10000th lives, this is the place to go. Beautifully designed as a Mediterranean style outdoor shopping center, it has a great mix of shops, some upscale and some off the charts expensive. Traditional Jewelers, for instance, sells $35,000 watches.
But of course the Barnes & Noble bookstore sells books for the exact same price as middle class places, and the food court is fairly priced but much higher quality than other malls. Pain du Monde has world-class bread products. Their cinnamon sticks are to die for and only cost a couple of dollars each.
As an escape from the ordinary, this place is tough to beat. And yet you don't have to spend a million bucks to feel like a million bucks - there's something for everyone, and there is no better place to soak in the multi-million dollar atmosphere of one of the coolest small cities on the planet.
