A true drive through coffee shop. They live up to their name. Located off a busy street, mornings is when a line will form, but they move you through reasonably quickly. Good coffee for your drive into the city.
A great little coffee place. I have only gotten coffee to go here in the form of Latte and it was some of the most delicious coffee I have ever had. It is not too high in price.
Great home-made ice cream. A must stop and get a cone or even one of the special shakes whenever you go through Columbia. Usually pretty busy in the summer afternoons and evenings.
What great atmosphere for a University town pub. Heidelberg is as much an institution as Missouri University itself. Great food, usually a wait in the evenings and friendly servers.
Sparks cleaners is within walking distance of the campus and our son took his cleaning there. They cleaned his tuxedo for choir concerts quite often and did a nice job.
Scrubby's Duds is close to the campus and was one of the laundromats we used to go to on Sat. mornings. It was clean, always someone there on staff to help with change, etc. and most of the machines worked most of the time.
Hastings has great prices and a wide variety of music and video's, DVD's and CD's. We were surprised by the quality and low price of the classical music section. Neat place.
A good place to go in and look for that new or used DVD, CD, book or video. They will even buy your old books, etc. Very interesting place to browse around.
Patty's book store is where our son got his books and we bought Truman State clothing and supplies there. It is a great little store right off campus with almost everything the student needs.
I have ordered floral bouquets from Baileys for various student concerts and plays. They always delivered on time and the arrangements were very pretty.
