Country Diner is an easy place for families to eat with young children. Buffet style, lots of variety. Kids eat easily and prices aren't too bad. Recommend for family dining.
Carnegie's Restaurant
Caregie's has been around for awhile and the service and food show it. Nice atmosphere, upscale dining. Very nice after work or just for a night out. Prices reasonable but not cheap.
EastSide Centre
Eastside was such a boon to the area when it was built.It's huge with plenty of room. Indoor walking track. All kinds of areas for different activites. Weights, machines whatever you need. Great facility.
Holmes Shoes
Holmes is a great place to find whatever type of shoe you are looking for. The staff is experienced and helpful. The selection is vast and they have everything from tennies to "night's out". Highly recommended.
Stride Rite
I love Stride Rite! The staff are so helpful to make sure your kids are fitted correctly. The selection is high quality and last as long as your kids are in that size. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Water Street Dance Company
Waterstreet Dance is a neat place in an old part of town. Old building with lots of character. The instructors are good and kind to the kids. All ages. Alot of talent.
Tom Cats Back Alley
Very nice little bar and eatery. Professional atmosphere, great food and lots of it for low prices. The drinks are great and waitresses keep your glass full! Highly recommended.
Flying D Dancewear
The owner is very knowledgable and helpful. Nancy has had the shop for quite awhile and really knows what she's doing. The extensive leotard, shoe and tight selection makes finding something for your dancer very easy.
Edge Fitness Ctr/ Dynamicgolf
Very good gym. Tons of equipment, never have to wait for a machine. Entrance is nice and always attended. The personal trainers are knowledgable and very helpful. My son loved it.
YWCA Peoria
This is a beautiful gym with everything you could possibly want in a healthclub. Wonderful pool, tons of activities and groups. Very highly recommended. Great for families with small children.
