A wide variety of sticks, including the latest and greatest that your child will want because their favorite pro players have them. Some of the stuff is pricey and you find better deals on- line. Frank has agreed to match on-line prices in the past if you provide the website of the store where you have found a better price. A lot of young staff that work here are unknowledgeable which is frustrating when you need assistance. There have been times when I have had to return to the store when Frank is in for assistance. Many of the young staff are unskilled at sharpening skates and therefore skates get sharpened below a standard of quality .The hours are not conducive to accommodate all the needs of players. There are times when the store is not open when it should be according to the posted times on the door.
Pros: stick selection, Frank's helpfulness
Cons: young staff, hours, skate sharpening.
You get much better skate sharpening service at the hockey stores at other rinks
Located on the corner, Tony's offers a typical bar menu. Outside they advertise specials. I found it to be an expensive dinner for 4 that only included sandwiches and pickies. The food was average, definitely not spectacular. Many other places on the island to get a better meal at a better price.
Request a table upstairs over looking the Harbor for a romantic dinner with your loved one. A nice dinner selection is offered with daily specials that will make your decision even harder. Reasonable priced for the shore and well worth the money as the food is delicious. We have never been disappointed here.
Clean and relaxing describe Mulligan's. Have a seat, enjoy great finger foods, especially the hot wings and some cold beverages. Check out the local paper and find out when they have Quizzo, it's fun
My husband has loved their Italian Creme Cake since he was little, his favorite birthday cake. My daughter loves the cannoli's, although they have gotten quite expensive.
Our club used Shamrock to book a group trip to Florida. The agency was extremely helpful in planning the trip and helping us find extra group activities
Our kids love to stop at Menz's for dinner during the summer. They love to walk around the restaurant and look at all the nostalgic decorations that they can not see anywhere else. They have a nice menu selections, with good fresh seafood. The fried tomatoes are awesome when in season and the portions are very good. Very accommodating for large parties
We have been eating breakfast at Samuel's for years. There is usually a crowd outside waiting for a table but it moves along quickly and is well worth the wait. Their crepes are to die for. We have eaten pretty much everything on the menu at one time or another and have no complaints.
We just returned from tasking my husband to Fenway for his 40th b-day and we did the tour. It is well worth the time and money. A young girl lead our tour and she was extremely knowledgeable, not only did she provide all the facts she was taught for the tour but she was able to answer all the questions asked. If you want a chance to sit on the Green Monster, take the tour!
We visited here on our trip to Boston and found the staff to be very helpful. Nice inventory of equipment. Many hockey stores you visist only carry the high end, newer items, not this one. Many options at reasonable prices!
