Dr. Joseph H. Fillmore, Interventional Pain Medicine, Electrodiagnostics; Works out of the Colorado Comprehensive Spine Institute and is a world class physical medicine and pain management doctor. I have seen Doctor Fillmore three times at the bequest of my spinal surgeon Dr. George Frey, the last time being yesterday, Friday, August 22, 2008. Dr. Fillmore is beyond excellent and is the consummate professional. When one lives in a constant state of back pain it is more than welcome to find relief in the capable hands of Dr. Fillmore. It would be so welcome if these spinal trigger point injections could last longer as it gives such tremendous relief and I find myself saying, "Oh this is how regular people feel!". Thank you so much Dr. Fillmore.
David M. Scheider, MD; Gastroentroentologist is the Director of the Lone Tree Center and is a partner of Gastronentronology Center. He is one of the finest state of the art surgeons I have ever had.I was given his name as a follow up from my Gastroentroentologist at Evanston, Hospital when I told him I was moving to Denver Colorado. I had to have a colonoscopy yearly for 5 years and now am in a 5 year reprieve. I will see Dr. Scheider this year in January for my next follow up. I never worry when he is the one handling the equipment as he is the ultimate professional and has a wonderful bedside manor. Oh, and he's from Chicago, so we have a great a connection.
Robert Teitelbaum, Dds is an excellent oral surgeon. I was sent to him to perform a third root canal on my front tooth. He was excellent, careful and pain free. He went in through the top of the gum and you can hardly tell where the scar is. The staff is thorough and very friendly. There follow up is terrific and they will made sure the surgeon gets back to you. If you need root canals done. I highly recommend this office.
The best burgers in Chicago. Inside and outside eating. It has a lovely outside beer garden. But all of us old hippies love the double fireside dining and the romantic dark atmosphere. Go ahead and have the burger, since they rule the menu, because they're a real treat--big without being gargantuan, cooked to perfection, full of flavor and served with deliciously greasy fries, long-cut and with the skin on. Moody's small menu also includes other sandwiches and (in winter) a few entrees. The draft-only beer selection is serviceable, though sangria is a house favorite and cocktails are available. But be nice to us old hippies because we'll be sipping the sangria, what else? This is a lovely old favorite romantic place of ours and now of the new generations too.
Dr. Davis is one of the nicest doctors I've ever had in my entire life. She truly is. I feel blessed to have found her at this juncture of my life. I wish she could be my every doctor as I am not fond of how fragmented health care has become with all it's specialists instead of a person being seen by one or two doctors an being seen as one whole being. My pick would be for doctor Davis to be my true Primary then if this could be done. I am involved in animal rescue and Dr. Davis loves my animals. I really appreciate this is her. She is truly smart and perceptive and compassionate. She is a person first, a human being and a doctor second that makes her real.

At Golden Leaf Health Services, Karen Thompson, PT, Dipl.. Ac., is the ultimate professional. Her business card reads: "Where East & West Combine for Complete Health Care". I can attest to that Ms. Thompson's' combination of Acupuncture's with Physical Therapy and Soft Tissue Manipulation are excellent modalities of health for my on-going back problems. She takes her time, and is always professional. You always leave her clinic feeling much better than when you walked in.
The Como Depot built in 1897 and is open 8am to 8pm except Wednesday. Como will stay open "as many days as it can justify", but when the winter draws in we will have to reconsider". It is really in the middle of nowhere. It is located out 285 in the south park valley. Fortunately, not only is it the only restaurant in this little town, but it has good food, so it sustains itself. The adjacent Bed and Breakfast is open every day. I just love to see and visit old towns in the west and their establishments begin to flourish again and come back to life!
This business is very reliable, honest and does reasonably priced work. This is a small, neighborhood auto repair shop. They work with your schedule, will even come and pick you up once the work is done on your car.
In general are very flexible and accommodating. The owner is a leader in the local business association and has served on its board of directors.
The Pickering Auto Service is a long long-established auto repair company. The one time we used them we were very satisfied with the work that was done by them.
Another plus is how community oriented the company is, as it provides a place to drop off school supplies for needy children and raises funds for other worthy community projects.
