If I could, and if they had the option, I would be rating Lennar at a negative 20.
I bought a Lennar Home. When they say everything is included, they mean it. Not only do you get your appliances, window treatments and landscaping (what little you get is very poor quality and usually dies and month after you move in), you also get very unprofessional and unsatifactory customer service. I have had to have them out over 12 times to repair items. My breakers constantly trip in my spare bedrooms and that is what my smoke detectors run off of. I never knew when they would trip and there was very little plugged into my outlets. I had an issue where there was severe smoke in my house and none of my detectors went off. Finding out later, 3 of the 5 detectors were faulty.
My front yard now has a big sink hole in it and they refuse to do anything about it. When they started my house, they built up the lot and they failed to pack the dirt in properly and they used sand and not dirt. Prior to bringing the grass in, they don't even put down a thin layer of nice soil. If you have clay or sand, that is what is under your sod. I also have a crack in the foundation that is under warranty and they told me they were not going to do anything about it and proceeded to tell me how I should fix it.
Please, before purchasing a Lennar, Village Builder or any home built in this family, even though it may be brand new, please have an inspection done on it. Try to visit the home after a hard rain to make sure you have proper drainage.
I would not recommend a Lennar Home.
I have ordered from Pizza Hut in The Woodlands several times and have been very happy with the results. I do the delivery and their delivery personnel have always been friendly. They have always been earlier than when the tell me they are going to be here with my food. I would recommend them highly.
