I think I once had a tooth pulled with less pain and annoyance than the process of adoption that this place puts you through. Once we found puppy we were asked to fill out an adoption application. We sat for an hour waiting for them to contact two references and our household for verification. After that, we were told that we'll not be able to take our puppy home until I bring my mom, an old lady that lives with us, to their location to attest that she is in fact ready and willing to accept and take care of the new family member. I had to tell them the deal is off because I'm not about to transport and old woman 20 miles to glance at a dog.
