The clothing is gorgeous! The trendiest items with the highest prices. When you walk in there is a large carousel horse that, naturally, every kid wants to touch. There is a sign asking not to, but the looks that you get as a parent from the sales ladies is enough to make you want to leave. This used to be a more reasonable boutique, but now it is something that we use for window shopping.
Be prepared to wait for a table as this is one very popular place! The food is greasy and so good! Breakfast is my favorite (pancakes and thick cut bacon). It is loud, so any kids will not be heard. The prices are very fair and the service is great. The only real problem is the parking. There tends to not be enough, but the turnover is pretty quick.
This store features some very exotic, but high quality tea. The quality is very good, The service is decent, but the prices are way too high. Getting a cup to drink is one thing, but when you spend 3-4x that for the loose leaf that's another.
We have been going to Borderline for a few years, and in the last 2 years the food quality has really declined. The service is fair, but the owners and managers are friendly. It is a good location in the middle of Blue Jay Village, but really needs to step up their game with their food.
I was new to knitting when I went to this store on a vacation. I felt a little intimidated until the owner offered to help me find some yarn. She didn't push me towrds the more expensive items, but rather showed me the sale basket. I knew that she was a rare individual. There were a bunch of people knitting in the back and they were all friendly and willing to give me advice. I can't wait to go back.
We stayed in a room that is one of a kind for this hotel. It has a private balcony with seating area that overlooks the ocean. It also has a kitchen. This room is a gem. The hotel is located within walking distance to the galleries, restaurants and shops in town. A great value!
This family run business has been around for decades! The quality of work that they do is unlike any other dry cleaner I have found. They really take the time to pay attention to details. They are so nice, it's like they welcome you into their family each time you visit. The prices are a little higher than the big chains, but the service and quality of work are much better!
I have been going to La Fondue for many years. Their meat is very high quality, their sauces are superb and their chocolate fondue is unlike any other. The best part about the chocolate fondue is the enormous amount of fruit, marshmallows, and wafer cookies you get to dip. The wine list is extensive and quite impressive. Reservations are recommended, but not necessary during the week.
These are the kind of doughnuts that I grew up. They are generous in size and icing. The boston creme filled are some of the best I've had. Be prepared to wait if you go on a weekend as this is a tiny shop. It's well worth it though.
We went there for breakfast and while it is a truck stop diner, the food was quite varied. It is a smaller restaurant, so expect a wait. The food was really good, and greasy. My kids loved the fact that some Sheriff deputies sat down next to us for breakfast. Everyone was nice, but the table could have used a good scrub.
