This place is far too pricey and crowded (although it was pretty empty this past weekend). I suppose I'm getting too old to want to be groped by teenagers with fake ids or young 20 somethings. I'm in my twenties, but the club, like much of Vegas seems very sleazy. The almost naked girls in the bathtubs are just tacky. "Always a happy ending" Are you kidding me? The music is decent, but I would never go there again.
I love this place! It's a relatively small establishment, but the food here is GREAT! The owners are a really friendly and funny Greek couple who make you feel right at home. Like many Greek fast food places, the portions are extremely generous at a very reasonable price. Love it!
I love this place! The owner is really nice and he jokes around with his customers and makes them feel very welcome in his business. They give you way too much food at a very afforadable price. I highly recommend this for anyone who is sick of fast food chains and wants a good, quick meal.
Okay, I've been to this place twice in the last month, and I absolutely love it. It is a tiny place, so I never noticed it until a friend suggested that we get some Mexican food one late night. Since then, it holds a special place in my heart. It's very small and has a pleasant feel to it. The food is really good too- and very affordable. Love it!
As a woman, I'm used to players not being particularly respectful of my presence. That's fine; however, the players at Hawaiian Gardens can only be described in one word: shady.
The place isn't well ventilated, the tables and chips are filthy, and the tables/chairs are far too close to each other.
It's a good place in terms of the games offered, but I think other casinos are a little classier and more sanitary.
This restaurant is quite casual (in a good way) and has a very friendly staff. The prices are reasonable and the food is really good. It's located near the college campus, but it isn't a loud, obnoxious setting. You will find older patrons combined with families and college kids. The outdoor patio is also very nice on warm days.
This store has an amazing selection of soaps, bath salts, night lights, candles, and other toiletries for the home. The smell when you enter the store is a bit strong, but I like it. There is always something in there to catch your attention. Definitely worth checking into.
I love this book store. They have newly published material as well as old classics and children's books which are a blast from the past!
Also, you can sell back books, including textbooks if I'm not mistaken.
Definitely a place to visit when you're in Uptown Whittier.
(Side note: they also have some beautiful notebooks and other supplies.)
My friend found this place a few months ago, and we have already been there a few times! The owner is truly sweet and knows how to treat customers with respect. It feels like you're part of the family.
Great food. Good drinks. Amazing prices! If you split one of the platters, you pay about $5 for way too much food.
The staff is very welcoming. We got there right around the time they were going to close the place, but they were happy to keep it open for our group.
I love this place.
I really love Miyako's. The non-sushi dishes are what first attracted me to the place (the Chicken Teriyaki bowl to be exact). As my interest in sushi has grown, I have found their sushi selection to be quite good.
More than anything else, I think they have a great staff and the ambience is perfect after a long school/work day.
