The food was delicious. The pasta with the duck ragu was phenomenal. The lamb was cooked perfected and the salmon was delicious. The service was good, our waiter was very attentative to what we needed and wanted!
Great vibe;but busier later;food is superb with wonderful daily specials; the boys up front are always pleasant even if you're a "nobody"! Can be noisy...but that's part of the vibe.
It is comfortable enough to be the ideal neighborhood spot yet well appointed enough to be a destination. The wine list is heavily Italian (appropriate for the cuisine)yet diverse enough to keep an oenophile coming back for more. En trees are true to their roots yet often have just the right flare to give you something to talk about.
I have been there numerous times, thats why the high scale ,but the last time the service was horible and the food was okay, so I guess I over visited it.
Overpriced... bit of a disappointment. I ordered a special, thinking the price would be inline with other entrees, but it was almost triple the price of other entrees and small portion. Not worth it.
The food is good; not great. The prices steep; given the aforementioned. And the attitude a tad haughty. This is not a good bet for a first date, or romantic evening because you never know what you're going to face; from a lengthy wait to questionable service.
The food and atmosphere are perfect for a low-key evening, service is always solicitous and helpful. Not in the greatest location so be aware of your surroundings.
Lively scene and very reliable - if somewhat overpriced - Italian, but the price is worth taking in the scene. You can get big portions to last you for days.
The Bistecca alla Florentina is cooked in their wood burning oven is ranks as one of the top three steaks I've ever had. Great food with a Tuscan flare and a great wine list to match.
Better than expected. Very pricey but the service was professional, the patio was lovely, the food tasty (though again, it ain't cheap), and the scene was endlessly entertaining
