Bad experience here. Two of our dogs became ill with kennel cough and double pneumonia after being here for Day Care and boarding. I should have taken a tour before I boarded them but didn't until I picked them up July 3, 2011. The play areas were about 90 degrees. There is no air conditioning only exhaust fans. They advertise themselves as being "climate controlled" but it was so hot in the back where the dogs were running that I would be concerned especially for a senior dog. Kennel cough flourishes in the heat with poor circulation. I couldn't imagine how hot it must be on the second floor where the dogs sleep. There are exhaust fans up there as well. We were told by the kennel manager that our was the ONLY case of kennel cough they've had. We subsequently learned that 3 dog owners from our area said there dogs got kennel cough in Feb and March from being at the Dog Stop. Inspite of asking to talk with the owner, the manager would not allow this to happen. She said she was responsible for handling situations like this. Our dogs had to be bathed as soon as they got home as they smelled. A conveyor belt takes dogs up to the second floor boarding area. An attendant reportedly goes up with the dogs that are fearful or they use an outdoor staircase.
We have always had a positive experience with any of the vets our 4 dogs have seen over the past 4 years. We also do Cairn Terrier rescue work and this clinic has been very generous in giving discounts to our rescue group for foster dogs we've had. The vet techs are the best at cutting nails.
A fun place to browse. Antiques and used furniture and accessories. A lot is crammed into the store and although it is sometimes difficult to maneuver, it is always fun to search for buried treasure. The store is clean as are the items for sale.
This is a fun place to browse. They have everything from gently used furniture and knick knacks to new items. Many of the used items have been beautifully refinished and are just waiting to find new homes. Store is neat and clean and furniture is arranged in orderly fashion that makes browsing easy. Definitely worth visiting.
Have purchased many items from this store. The furniture is upscale and owner's are very selective about the condition of the items sold. Items are all in excellent condition and styles are current. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. All furniture and accessories are presented in an orderly arrangement that makes browsing especially fun and productive.
This is definitely the place to celebrate a special occasion. Have been there many times and have never had better meals in Naples. Sitting in their outdoor area one has the feeling of being on the Cote d'Azure. The food is excellent, the service is great, expensive but worth the cost. Great menu selections and fine wine selections as well.
This is a wonderful little ceramics studio. The owner, Sandy, is very warm and welcoming as well as being knowledgeable. The studio is very inviting and colorful as the walls are filled with brightly glazed pieces that children and adults have made. For the serious artist there is a potter's wheel and Sandy is available to teach you how to throw pots. Her prices are quite reasonable given the fact that she supplies the glazes and fires the pieces. For people less creative and daring there are many pieces of greenware available that can be painted and fired. For all of us who are wanabee ceramic artists, this is the place to be. It is truly fun and a great way to relieve stress. Groups are welcome.
As a newbie in ceramics, I wandered into Standard Ceramics with virtually no knowledge of what I wanted or needed in terms of glazes for clay beadmaking. I found the staff went out of their way to answer my questions and provide guidance. At one point a staff member even researched something for me on the internet. When I left, I was given catalogues to browse through. This staff couldn't have been nicer to a novice ceramic artist.
Have been a patient of Dr. Shaheen for several years and think she is one of the best choices a woman could make for an ob/gyn. She is very knowledgable, listens, and is extremely caring.
Have been going here for a few years. Atmosphere is friendly and low keyed. Tammy is excellent at giving pedicures and making you feel relaxed. An added bonus is her leg massages as part of pedicure.
