A year ago I was looking for apartments with my roommates and we were becoming frustrated at the limited number we were finding. So we went to apartment seekers for help.
We ended up not using any of their suggestions, but the service was excellent. The staff sat us down and went over our apt budget, the number of rooms we were looking for and then pulled up a list of apartments with contact names for us. All for FREE!
This is a little restaurant located in the Aveda & Hobbit Hoagie's shopping center off of Ocala/Pensacola. I went here one evening with my roommates and it was decent food. I wasn't really filled with my crepe selection, but would like to go back and give it another try some day. The prices are around $6-8.
I was really excited when Aveda originally opened its doors with $12 hair cuts. However, I have yet to exit the place with a hair cut I've been head over heels for.
If you go, you need to know that your hair is being cut by students. Which doesn't mean that it'll be a bad cut, it just means that you may be sitting there for a long time. The last time I went, the wash, cut and style took over an hour and wasn't what I wanted (but after sitting in a chair that long I wasn't about to repeat the process).
The staff are friendly and if you want to pay extra you can have a master stylist cut your hair. I've found other places to get a hair cut that I really like for $12.
To me, the ingredients here are not the freshest and you can tell that some of the stuff came out of a can. However, the prices here are good and overall it tastes pretty decent. I've never really had what I would call authentic Mexican food here. But again, the prices and service is pretty good for what it is.
I've gone to this place a couple of times and have only tried their chicken and rice dishes. Their prices are decent, even better when you have a coupon in hand from the paper. Its pretty tasty, just not anything amazing.
I haven't always been the biggest fan of Cuban food. But every time I come to this restaurant their food is excellent. The service can be a little bit slow at times, but its a great place to spend some time with friends. I've yet to try something here that I haven't liked and really enjoy their cuban sandwiches and plantains.
This is the only rock gym I have ever been to, but the people here are amazing! The staff will take the time to explain things to you and walk you through equipment and the how-tos and every time that I've gone, the other customers are willing to make suggestions and be supportive to new people.
This pizza tastes pretty good. I especially enjoy their eggplant pizza. Its not something that you can easily find around, but it takes pretty good and their prices are good too. You can usually spot several police officers around enjoying a meal and relaxing. You can also run next door to TCBY and grab dessert.
I'm not a big fan of Sonney's BBQ sauce. If you aren't either, then you may like this BBQ like I do. Each day of the week they have a special. Monday is messy monday where you get a sandwich of your choice with a side and drink for $6.45, Tuesday is tender tuesday where you get chicken tenders a side and drink for $5, etc. The atmosphere is great and you can bring a lot of friends or a few, it can accommodate either.
This buffet is smaller that King's or Super China but I think that the quality of the food here is far superior and the price far less expensive! It feels like a more homey restaurant and is tucked way in one of the corners of the shopping complex. If you get the chance, check it out, I highly recommend it!
