CSB&T is a wonderful bank. With a long and proud 100 year history in Colorado, this bank is one that has earned its good name. The people are knowledgeable and helpful and there are several branches throughout the area and downtown to make banking easy.
Oceanaire is an extraordinary experience, from beginning to end. The freshest fish and seafood available prepared perfectly. One of their signature preparations includes blue cheese butter with grilled onions over a fresh fish, we had it with the marlin, absolutely delicious! I like fish simply prepared and they provide a simply grilled section for all the daily fresh fish. The spinach salad with hot bacon dressing is to die for! A complimentary crudites platter is placed at your table as soon as you sit down. With excellent cocktails and wines, plus fabulous deserts (try the chocolate mousse), this restaurant is one of the best Denver has to offer. The staff is so friendly and professional, you'll love it. Right across the street from the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, it is a great place before the theater!
Arts on Fire is the place to go for a great family activity, birthday party or girls night out. The sisters who own and run the store are SO friendly, welcoming and helpful. They have great ideas and will help you design a plate, bowl, tile, piggy bank, etc. that you will love. You pay for the piece after you have painted it, NO charge for the paint or how long it takes to complete! I have made platters with my children's hand-prints that have taken days to finish, no problem at Arts on Fire! Right in Town Center in Highlands Ranch, it is such a fun place to go!
Time for braces? Worried about those buck teeth or huge gap? Dr. Lindsey will give you straight answers in the most caring, considerate way. With two offices, one off of Dry Creek and Quebec and the other in Castle Rock, Dr. Lindsey is convenient and incredibly talented. We have two children in braces and one has a long road with 5 missing teeth! Dr. Lindsey has explained to us exactly what the plan will be for the next 10 years of his life to help him have a bite and a jaw that will be healthy for the rest of his life. So friendly, so personable and highly educated, Dr. Lindsey is one of a kind!
My husband has been seeing Dr. Hopfensperger since he was a boy. Now we both go, as do all of our children. He is thorough and a bit old-fashioned, but has all the equipment and practices you'd find at all the new dentists offices. His wife, Carol, greets you with a welcome smile as you walk into the modest office. All of our children enjoy going to the dentist and there is no t.v. or headphones, just a great hygienist and dentist who truly take care of your teeth. Give Dr. Hopfensperger a try if you are looking for a new dentist, you will feel right at home!
La Dolce Vita is on of the best Italian restaurants we have visited, anywhere! The food is as authentic as if you were in Italy, as are the authentic accents of several of the employees! They have many specials to tempt you further, so it never becomes dull or routine. The decor and ambiance is so inviting. I cannot do it justice, so I'll say simply, it is elegant and inviting. With the voice of an angel, a beautiful young woman will sing as you dine, drink and enjoy a truly unique night out! Children are welcome always, but it's a great place for a date night. Call for reservations and enjoy a suburban restaurant that makes you feel like you are on vacation!
We love Nono's! A quaint and charming atmosphere with a dedicated staff and excellent food. Their spaghetti with meat sauce is, by far, the BEST I have ever had. The "house" salad dressing is so delicious they serve it with bread for dipping and sell it by the jar-full. The Strawberrry cake is the most delicious cake, absolutely heavenly as are all of their home-made desserts. They serve the traditional creole favorites like catfish and bread pudding, too. Very family friendly with a good kids menu and it is always very busy, call ahead to see what the wait will be! They have a wonderful wrap around porch to relax on while you wait for a table.
We visited La Sandia on a whim while looking at the new Northfield shopping center. What a wonderful surprise! The food is fantastic, very authentic with Mexican cheeses used, homemade tortillas, delicious salsa and guacamole. We took our kiddos, they dined on quesadillas and "tacquitos" which were soft corn tortillas filled with seasoned chicken and cheese. We did not try the margaritas or sangria but saw them in passing and wished we had! Go check out Northfield and eat at La Sandie, you will enjoy a beautiful restaurant and patio!
If you like authentic New Mexican/Mexican cuisine, La Cueva is for you! The mole is delicious and the green chile is flavorful and HOT! Great atmosphere in a small (cave like, hence the name) space! Call ahead, it has loyal diners!
