McLimans Fine Used & Antique
McLiman's is a very large store with a lot of antique and second-hand furniture. Plan to spend at least an hour browsing the furniture and decorative items. It's a fun way to see some period pieces and learn about local history. We've bought a couple of small accent pieces and have been satisfied.
Capriotti's Sandwich Shop
Capriotti's is a nice sandwich shop. They have a varied menu with some unique combinations. They also have several vegetarian options which are very tasty. It's one of our favorite hoagie shops.
Planet X Cafe
If you're looking for a fun, funky eatery, Planet X won't disappoint. They have a very unique menu with lots of veggie selections. The tofu sate was delicious and the crispy seitan was incredible. It's hard to decide when you're looking at the menu but the wait staff is knowledgeable and will make recommendations. They also have a nice drink menu. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Rehoboth. Thery're a bit expensive but it's fun for a special night out. Highly recommended.
Rehoboth Art & Framing Inc
This store has a great variety of prints and frames. I bought a couple of framed prints and the owner discounted them when I checked out. You can spend a lot of time admiring and choosing art in this shop - definitely recommended.
Grandma's Place
Grandma's Place always has a wide variety of terrific craft and decorative items. There are frequent sales and the lower floor usually has a clearance section. The owner will often discount items when you check out, which is a nice bonus. This store is a regular stop for us when we go to Lancaster - definitely a fun shop.
Kennett Square Cleaners
I've used Kennett Cleaners for several years and have been satisfied. They've been able to clean some spots that were tricky and the clothes are always ready when promised. A reliable cleaner.
Pretzel Boys
If you like Philly pretzels, you'll love Pretzel Boys. The pretzels are delicious, the service is quick and a good Philly pretzel is now available outside of the city! Try them!!
Irresistibly Eefie's Gourmet
We used eefie's to cater an event and she provided great vegetarian dishes with a beautiful presentation. She did a wonderful potato dish and grilled vegetables. The cost was very reasonable, the staff was nice to work with and the food was delicious. We were very satisfied.
Cuisines Restaurant
Cuisines is a very upscale restaurant that is very well-known in the Chadds Ford area. They offer a nice variety of food including some vegetarian options. They have several salads and appetizers without meat and also several pasta dishes that are meatless. Very nice setting, excellent service and a place that makes you feel special. Highly recommended.
Pescatores
Pescatore's is a very nice, authentic Italian restaurant on Rt. 202. The building is beautiful and the food is very well done. We don't eat meat but the pasta and salads we've had were very good. We don't go often because the prices are rather high for pasta,compared to other reasturants, but it's nice when you want to treat yourself or for a special occasion.
