As an "insider" I would NOT recommend boarding your pets with Dr. Gardner. Dr. Gardner may seem great with the care of your pet, but it took him WEEKS maybe even MONTHS to tend to 2 open wounds of his OWN dog. His employees constantly told him about the condition of the dog but he did nothing about it until it was too late to even sew up the wounds. The open wounds were about an inch wide. You could see the meat as if it were her flesh. So the poor Grey Hound had to sit in a cage with a cone on her head only getting let out twice a day to use the bathroom. What makes him care about your pet if he wont even tend to his own?! Once again, as an "insider" I would recommend you to board your pet(s) at Sunny Days Pet Resort. They give spacious room, air conditioned kennels, the animals are let out 4 times a day, they are fed based on your instructions, they get to interact with other dogs... they are EXCELLENT with the animals. They treat every animal as if they were a part of their own family. Reasonable prices. They are the only people (in Lakeland) i would trust with my pets!!!! CALL THEM FIRST!!
