The food at Popeis seems to be consistently good. However, the hostess does need a little help in the area of hosting. If you cannot be consistently upbeat and welcoming to the customers while leaving your bad day behind that podium, then you should not be a hostess. She would not be my choice of who I would want leaving the final impression in the minds of my customers. Anyway... With the exception of the calamari being a slight bit rubbery, I have never had any complaints about the food. Not a romantic restaurant by any means, but a great place for family dining or going out with friends for a good and inexpensive (for the lg amt of food you get) meal.
