So everyone has to have their favorite diner and this is mine. They have a fantastic selection traditional and non-traditional items so there is something for everyone. My favorite is the house special breakfast which is your basic eggs and potatoes but with cheese and tons of jalapenos. There service is fast and friendly and they have some very interesting murals on the walls. This a great place for a quiet Sunday breakfast or a quick, easy and inexpensive place to take a friend.
Wow this place is delicious. Very authentic and just enough spice. When I went I had Pad Thai with shrimp and it was a perfect combination of chilies, peanuts, veggies and of course shrimp. They sell beer and wine and have some very exotic desserts as well. Try the coconut ice cream, yummy. The only thing that was lacking was papaya salad, which is a favorite of mine. This is the place for Thai food in La Habra.
I love this store. Being a single shopper this place is great. Produce is in small packages and so are a number of other essentials. The selection is a little bit more limited but they do have a lot of organic items which is nice. They have a number of fresh made items for people on the go (or who don't know how to cook). This is the number one place I shop.
El Cholo Restaurant, located in La Habra off of Harbor, is a great place to go have a Margarita, some good Mexican food and socialize with friends. The atmosphere is what I liked the best though. Lots of old pictures (even one with Pancho Villa, or so it said) of turn of the century Los Angelas. There are a number of locations and this one is cute, clean and convenient if you live a bit North of Anaheim.
