My family and I go to the Glenmore by snowmobile multiple times during the season. The food is good and the prices are alright. They have a decent variety of food and drink.
Screamen eagle offers the best hot wings in the area. This is the place to go for a late night wing run via snowmobile. The price is right and the pizza is great too.
Keyes has awesome pancakes! They also serve a variety of breakfast and lunch foods. We always stop here before making the long trip back to New Jersey. The price is very reasonable and the service is great.
We always make it appoint to go to the Old Mill when we are in the Adirondacks. They have a pretty decent selection of food. They make the best tortollini soup. They are a bit pricy though.
Daikers rocks! A favorite place to go in the summer. We'll rent a boat and cruise around the 4th lake, then stop by Daikers for a beer and some appetizers. In the winter we'll stop in by snowmobile to warm up. The food is awesome and the beer is always cold. A large dining area inside and out can accomodate any size group.
Slickers is a small but popular bar and restaurant in old forge. This place is especially packed during snow mobile season because the wings are hot and the beer is cold.
Hard Times cafe is a very small eatery located next to the super duper in eagle bay. The service is great and the food is even better. They make great tacos! Never had a bad experience here.
Sammy's is a great place to stop in for a burger and some fries, and to end everything with an ice cream sundae. For those of us who "missed" the experience, Sammy's captures that old time feeling, like an old malt shoppe.
I went to Deb's Mane tease as recommended by a friend. I went in for a simple hair cut and ended up walking out with a beehive on my head. The cut was ragged and uneven and inches shorter than I had asked. I had to go to another salon to have them even things out. It took months before my hair was completely even and I could style it again without looking like I stuck my finger in a socket.
I bought my flowers for my wedding at Gray's florist. The prices are pretty reasonable. The outside doesn't look too inviting but they have a wide variety of arrangements and gifts. My bouquet turned out beautiful and didn't wilt for the entire night.
