Silliness. Come here smashed, or you won't feel quite right... Has a cheesy tiki bar vibe and the karaoke amplifies that x 100. If you are looking for something low-key and ridiculous with a group of friends, this is the place.
I am all about straying from the usual these days, and while they do not always hit the mark, I give these guys points for coming up with new stuff. A bit pricey, but one of the best seafood experiences in L.A. LOVED the king crab legs, and the drink menu is great.
Gorgeous interior with medieval decor and a decent lounge area. The location is distasteful, but the owner has been sharp enough to keep the venue running. Good business sense...but the quality of the events there is questionable these days.
Classy and clean, as far as adult stores go. They have been the go-to place for many an amusement...definitely worth a giggle or two...not at all uncomfortable. Great selection of incense. And BZZZT!
Our friendly neighborhood cafe. One step inside this place, with its heavy wooden beams and antique country accouterments, and you feel hundreds of miles from the city. I swear, even the staff have a laid back vibe and a hint of Southern accents. The food is...basic, but filling. Generous portions. Good eggs and sandwiches. We like to walk down the hill and grab a bit here before shopping or garage-sale-ing.
I love this place! A delicious lamb sandwich, goat cheese salad and crisp iced tea = the perfect lunch. Surely the best thing about Larchmont Village.
Two words: Kobe sushi. STEAK ON SUSHI! My two favorites, all in one. They have some other unique rolls that really hit the spot...though not very traditional, they blend flavors well and make me believe. We always sit at the bar and make up new martinis, too.
Am I really the first to review the House of Blues? I have been a few times for concerts and once for a snack. All pretty decent, nothing too exciting. A bit too 'big' to have any real character, but it serves its purpose. The Foundation room seems smaller and less appealing than the one in Vegas...if my memory serves correctly.
A sushi place that delivers! OMG! And it's actually really good... We love the dragon rolls and our own seaweed/sashimi salad combination. Cheap for sushi that comes to you...fast! (Closed Sundays and Mondays...booo.)
I modeled for them once and was shocked at what people can get away with charging for a freaking pair of jeans and some raggy t-shirts...wow! Well, I wasn't down in the store much, but saw plenty of eye-popping tags (apparently other brands and not their own)... The owners seemed nice enough.
