We had lunch at the Trevi in the Caesar's Forum Shops area. The seating is in a patio area within the Forum. We had a large group that they easily accommodated and allowed us to linger and talk after the lunch. Everyone enjoyed the Italian food.
I have had my dog groomed at this shop a few times with mixed results. On one occasion it looked as if one of his legs had been missed in the trimming process. Also I was very uncomfortable with the number of unrestrained large dogs in the small grooming area. I no longer patronize this groomer.
I have had mixed experiences at Apple Ford. The service department is pretty good. They get you in and out quickly when you drop off your car for service. Unlike a lot of dealers I have been to they do not try to sell you every air filter, wiper, or fluid change possible. I have been pretty happy with their service as far as dealers go. However, I went there looking to buy a used car and I was passed from salesman to salesman with less and less experience until I got the new guy. He was very, very nice but knew nothing about the cars on the lot. I didn't go back to look for a car there.
I tried to get the Columbia Jewelry Service Center to repair a silver watch band. They basically said they could not do it without sending it to the manufacturer and it would be very expensive. I found a kiosk in the mall that ordered the part and had it fixed for a third of the cost without sending it to the manufacturer.
The Silver Heron is a small shop in Columbia Mall specializing in silver jewelry. The items in the store are not that unusual but they do have a large and interesting collection of earrings. I have purchased some charms in this store that I was unable to find in other stores.
This store located in the Columbia Mall has a ton of jewelry. The store is not that large but the jewelry selection is huge. They have items arranged by stone type or style. For example all garnet items are together, all Southwestern are together, all plain gold items are together. This not only makes items easy to find but also allows for easy comparison in terms of specific items and their costs. The prices are pretty reasonable when compared to main stream jewelry stores. The employees are helpful, but not pushy - they will let you browse.
This store has very interesting merchandise especially the jewelry and clothing. I used to shop here around the holidays because they had very unusual items. However, I had to quit shopping there because of their return policy. They only allowed returns for store credit. Because their items are so unique and unusual the chance a person may not like the style is pretty great. With this return policy I just couldn't justify making a purchase for a gift and not being able to return it except for store credit. It took me a long time to use up the last store credit I received. Too bad - great merchandise, crappy policies.
We were interested in seeing a "classic" Las Vegas showgirl review and were directed to the Folies. We were squeezed into a seating arrangement with a bunch of strangers around a very narrow table. Very uncomfortable;way too close and I mean close. The show was so cheesy it was funny. We were glad we had not paid alot for the tickets.
Riverside Coffee not only has a large selection of coffees but also a nice sandwich shop. The soup and sandwich is a good deal for lunch. I have ordered coffee beans as gifts for family members during the holidays as well.
Coca Cola Tickets2Nite offers discount same day tickets for shows in Las Vegas. It is a hit or miss proposition. We were able to get 2 tickets to the Folies Bergere at the Tropicana. Don't expect to be able to get tickets to the big shows unless you are there during off, off, off season. We were looking for cheap tickets to an old time Vegas show so this fit the bill.
