Millikin Bookstore
The Millikin Bookstore always has such great Millikin apparel and merchandise. Being MU alumni means that occasionally I need a new sweatshirt to wear to the homecoming game! I also like to stop in and just take a look around - see what's new. The staff is always very friendly, and very helpful.
Kirlin's Inc
This Hallmark shop is always very nicely maintained and always has a great selection of cards & gifts. The staff is extremely nice and always helpful in making just the right selection. They often mingle with the customers, so they are readily available to answer questions or assist in making selections. I buy most of my Yankee candles here; they often run specials. Very clean, warm & inviting place to shop. I highly recommend for your next card or gift need.
Garcia's Pizza In A Pan
I don't know what happened when this location opened up, but the food leaves MUCH to be desired. When Garcia's was at the mall the pizza was always superb, but this location doesn't even serve pizza that tastes good, let alone tasting like "Garcia's." The crust is usually soggy, the ingredients are either over cooked, or not cooked well enough, and the place just looks run down and dirty. The employees still act like they are getting to know the ropes too, even though this location has been open long enough for someone to know what they are doing running the register or preparing orders. Perhaps it is the supplier of the ingredients, or maybe the pans that they bake the pizza in that makes is so unsatisfactory, but I cannot recommend that anyone eat this pizza. Especially anyone who is expecting the taste of the original Garcia's.
Whispers
This store has a very unique selection of items. They are very well made pieces. The saleswoman (I also believe to be the owner:-) is extremely helpful in all aspects of the buying process. She is not shy, and she does not expect you to be either! Tell her what you're interested in and she'll find it for you, help you get it fitted correctly, and then tell you how it looks on you!! Great shopping experience. Will definitely buy here again.
Neal Tire & Auto Service
There is a great bunch of guys running this store location! They are always quick to get your car or truck in for tire service! We use their "outside" tire guys to repair our bigger truck and equipment tires. They are FANTASTIC!! They often come right to our job, or to our shop after hours to get us ready to roll the next morning! They work very hard to keep us happy!! I highly recommend this Neal Tire location!
R K Lawn Svc
RK Lawn Service moved to Harristown last year. They have been mowing our grass all summer and doing a great job! We have had SO much rain here that the grass has just been on the verge of out of control - and they've done a great job of visiting us regularly to keep it managed. My dogs especially love them because they keep the fenced in area short so they don't get all wet in the dewey morning grass!!
Clare's
Clare's is a very reasonably priced family diner that always has a lot of fun with their cutomers. A lot of the diner's are regulars, so they have a good rapport with the waitresses. Clare's always takes the time to decorate the entire restaraunt with cute, holiday themed decorations. They have daily specials and good pies for dessert.
Zales
I bought a diamond journey necklace at Zales after Christmas last year when I had some extra money (from gifts!) The salesperson was very friendly and helped me pick out just the right necklace for me. Ended up being a great price for it too! Better deal than some of the other mall jewelry stores.
Summitt Tax & Accounting
Very good business here. They are very down-to-earth and can talk about accounting issues in plain english so that regular people with no accounting experience can understand. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the tax world. They have even come to my place of business to take care of things instead of me having to make an appointment and travel to their site. Very conveneint. Great bunch of people!
Sikich LLP
Sleeper Disbrow has some very capable accountants on it's staff, but for the most part they are very out-of-touch with their clients. If you are not a giant client then you seem to not get dealt with in a very timely manner. You may find that you also have to provide the same information more than once. It's not lost, they just can't find it!
I would not recommend.
