I love Blue Ribbon bakery, always full of delicious baked breads and sweet treats, just like in the Philippines, which I nostalgically crave. They also sell cakes for every occasion, made to order. I wish I lived closer so I never run out.
It's located right on the corner, so you can't miss it and there's a metered parking lot so you can definitely drop in and sit a while.
The employees are really friendly and work quickly to make sure customers get just what they want.
I recently had my birthday at Makkoli, a guest list of 10 people and we all left happy and full of amazing sushi and Chinese food. It was pretty busy that Saturday night, but we made a reservation beforehand and the servers were really accommodating and kept our table clean the whole time.
I also love their green tea ice cream, fresh fruit and tiny assorted desserts, a perfect touch to such an awesome buffet.
I love this supermarket. My mom and I drop by here at least once a week for canned ingredients, snacks, and baked goods.
If you are a frequent fish/ meat buyer, I highly recommend having a few singles to tip the butchers. They are a little bit difficult to communicate with, but they appreciate any kind of tip for their service and are quick to serve faces they recognize.
There is also a hair salon attached to the market, where you can get a pretty expensive but awesome hairstyle. I've also tried the massage therapy in the adjoining spa, awesome for working out any knots.
I really love their freshly made food, available to order for a quick meal or for a party. I am a big fan of their chicken teriyaki and could live off of it if given the chance.
The only downside is they are closed on Mondays.
I highly recommend this cleaners for all your needs, slacks, delicate blouses and even prom dresses. I got my prom dress pressed and altered there and was very impressed by the quality of the stitching and the feel of my dress.
I usually dine here with my friends during summer gatherings because this place serves amazing, fresh food at prices affordable to a college student.
It's clean, fast service is also a wonderful plus. I recommend it out of all the Chinese restaurants on Route 9.
I love Dr. Wolleck. His assistants are a great asset to his office. They are friendly and really quicken my check up experience. I visit every three months and am usually in and out within a half hour with sparkling teeth. They make dentist visits enjoyable and pain free.
I think Dr. Giurguis is a very wonderful doctor. She is helpful, assesses allergies efficiently and has helped me clear my airways as well as keep my allergies in control.
The only downside is how long I have to wait in line, even after having booked an appointment months in advance.
I only visit her once every six months or so and don't mind waiting. Just consider yourself warned if you plan on being a monthly visitor.
I was a patient of this office when Samuel Galkin was still practicing orthodontics. He has since passed on his business to his son, Scott who is just an awesome orthodontist like his father.
The office has been newly renovated with new chairs, fixtures, and paint job. I think it is a brilliant change for such an awesome office. I'd highly recommend it for their awesome friendly staff that help make sure your smile is perfectly aligned and keeps you in the know the whole time.
I love their wide selection of flavors: ice cream, sherbets, and milkshakes. During the summer months, this place is really happening and there are usually long lines, but DEFINITELY worth the wait and the few extra bucks. Their servers are friendly, quick, and make good recommendations for first timers.
I've never been disappointed.
