Lake Hiawatha Dairy
I've been to this ice cream place since I was a child and I always liked their variety of ice cream. The staff is friendly and there are tables set outside for people to enjoy the outdoors with their ice cream. My family always get ice cream cakes from here and they're usually reasonably priced.
Kam Man Foods Inc
I used to come here a lot after working in East Hanover just for some bubble tea. They have some variety but I usually go for the typical milk tea. They plastic seal your drink inside so none of it can spill until you make an opening with your straw.
There is also a hot food section where you can get cooked meals, although I have not ordered from there yet. Other than that, they have the usual Asian foods you can not find in a typical American supermarket.
Jasper Chinese Restaurant
Jasper has a pretty quiet and spacious atmosphere and the service is quick. The food is definitely fresh because they can get it straight from the Chinese supermarket next door since they have the same owner. Other than that, there isn't much that is great about it but there's also nothing to complain about.
Schuster Larry Dpm
When I first started to experience foot pain, my mother took me to Dr. Schuster to find out what was going on. He not only prescribed me with the insert I needed, but also told me what kinds of shoes I should be shopping for to prevent further damage to my feet.
Dr. Schuster is quite informative when it comes to foot care and his staff is friendly too. They are all willing to help with your benefit in mind.
Sushi Kuu
I love to get lunch at this place with my family because their food is delicious if you want a bento or their sushi rolls. I love their three rolls for $10 deal in a group because we can choose what rolls to try and share with your friends for more variety.
The only problem I have with this restaurant is that it changes its name too often so people do not recognize it when I refer to it.
Hunan Cottage
This restaurant has been around for a long time and has been known as "the panda house" in the family because of the panda statue sitting in front of it. The food is close to Shanghai style with smaller portions compared to the other areas of Chinese cuisine.
The last time I went there, I had a sweet tofu soup that felt a little spicy due to the addition of ginger and some xiao long bao that were tiny but delicious. Considering that the final bill was less than $60 dollars and it satiated all nine adults at the table, I must say our lunch was well priced.
Pyramid Mountain Visitors Ctr
My parents often go here for hiking on the weekends and sometimes I personally tag along. The paths are a good mix between steep climbs and flat areas. The view is beautiful, especially in the fall with the colors of the leaves changing. There is also a lake nearby one of the trails and the Tripod Rock is one of the main attractions to this park. Also, the visitor's center is filled with abundant scientific information and offers activities for kids to learn about the area.
Sakura Hibachi Steakhouse
The food is fine and well presented as most Japanese food typically is. Unfortunately, the show that you get when you order hibachi gets boring after seeing it a couple times. On the bright side, the chef's tricks are still impressive and you get to tell them how exactly you want your food to be cooked since it is made right in front of you.
Empire Diner Inc
This diner is known to be open any time of the day and still serve you well. It is a common place for most high school students to dine at after an event. The food and service is decent for a diner but you can't expect much, considering.
China Gourmet
Although not packed every night, the restaurant gives a pleasant atmosphere that does not require you to shout in order to speak to those around you. The food is great if you want to have a Cantonese styled dinner.
