Gazebo Restaurant
The Gazebo is a tiny restaurant that serves a wonderful breakfast. It has a beautiful view of the ocean, and you can even see whales during their migration season. They have the best pancakes, banana, macadamia nut, and others.
Leilani's On The Beach
Leilani's is a favorite spot of ours to go for Happy Hour. They are right on the beach, and they have live music. We like to sit and have drinks and appetizers and people watch. They have very tasty appetizers, and the Dig Me Daqueri (named aftert that stretch of beach) is to die for, a Strawberry Dacqueri with Guava Juice. i can't wait to go back!
Cheeseburger In Paradise
Cheeseburger in Paradise has some of the best burgers. Theire fries are very tasty, as well as their onion rings. They are a bit overpriced, but hey, everything in Hawaii is!
Simon the Jeweler
Simon the Jeweler is always friendly, and is always willing to fix anything. He is very honest. I dropped my wedding ring off to be cleaned while I was next door at the hair place, I didn't fill out a claim check because I was going to be right back. Well, I went home and realized that I forgot to pick it up after he was already closed. I picked it up first thing the next morning, and he had it safe for me. He has some really unique jewelry as well.
Platinum Tint & Car Audio
I went to Platinum to have my front windows tinted. I had to take my car back twice to have the windows redone to get them without bubbles. They also put a small slice in my door panel.
Greene, Thomas, Dds - Liberty Dental Group
My son just recently got his braces on. Dr. Green explained everything to us, and when I called with questions, he called me back personally with the amswers. We went to him on a referral from from a friend, and we chose to go with him over 2 other Orthos. that we consulted with. Not to mention his quote was alot lower than the others.
Scrubs Etc
Scrubs etc. always has a huge selection of the latest styles of scrubs. If they don't have your size, they will order it. The bonus is that they carry tall sizes of scrub pants which aren't easy to find. They also carry shoes and various accessories for the medical field.
Black Bear Diner
If you're in the mood for a good breakfast, or some comfort food, Black Bear Diner is your place. They have a variety of Breakfast dishes, from eggs to French Toast to Country Fried Steak & Eggs to Omelets to Corned Beef Hash. Their lunch and dinner menu is pretty expansive including Burgers, Sandwiches, Home Cooked type meals, and Pasta Dishes. I especially like their Chicken Pot Pie. Their Burgers look good too. They have fresh baked individual size pies that can easily feed 2, and a monster Bear Claw that looks delicious. They have friendly service, and a cute cabin type decor with bears everywhere. It is run by the Fagan's, formerly of Fagan's restaurant in Oakley.
Mac's Old House
Mac's old house is an excellent place for drinks. They're cheap, somewhere around $1.50 for well drinks, and super powerful. Their menu is limited with only a few items, and the food is O.K., the bread is excellent, as well as their soup. They do always have a long wait on Friday & Saturday. Bring your cash, they don't take credit cards.
Silver Skillet Restaurant
We like to go to Silver Skillet for breakfast. They have great French Toast and Breakfast Burritos. Their lunch and dinner is decent as well, but not spectacular.
