this place has decent pho and of course, its cheap. there's other decent vietnamese dishes. not THE best pho restaurant in the world, but they leave you satisfied.
Honestly, can anyone say they haven't enjoyed a piece of deliciously roasted meat from sam woo. they have pork, duck, etc ready for take out at any time. it's delicious. it's easy. it's consistant.
a very cool and unique place amongst the stores in the san gabriel valley. it's filled with cute, artsy trinkets and items that serve no real function but to amuse. it's an art gallery and the exhibitions in the back are usually interesting. they also hold a lot of special events such as movie screening parties and such.
this is just like noodle world -- but it's noodle planet. good, cheap, and fast. i love the 102 with chicken. large variety but somewhat generic like all the other locations around the sg valley.
This place is pretty decent. I come here because it's cheap and they do a relatively good job. It mostly depends on who you get that day. Some of the women are better than the others. Unfortunately, there's no air conditioning in the salon so it can get hot and there's usually a long wait if you come later in the day.
i live a good 45 minutes away and i come to this salon whenever i'm getting a drastic haircut. its non-intimidating and the girls who work there are very cute. my hairdress, jen, did a consultation with me and i came out very happy with my new, short bob.
this place serves good food at cheap prices. the place is small but ordering out is easy. the portions were also big and i felt full and satisfied when i left.
this is the 29154th yogurt place to emerge in the past few months. the place is cute but the yogurt is decent. the toppings, especially, the fresh fruit is not so fresh though. i recommend pinkberry or nubi before this.
there are a million yogurt places springing up in the area in imitation of pinkberry's success. since pinkberry is far away, nubi is a tolerable alternative in comparison to the other options. you can chose your own flavors, mix and match, choose your own toppings which is great. but you pay by the ounce so you may find yourself paying $8 for a cup of yogurt.
This is my favorite shabu restaurant in the area. The cashew sauce is amazing and no matter how many times my father tries to duplicate it - he can't. The servers are very nice. The meat is excellent. No matter how hard you try, you will not be able to get the same quality at home.
