He is the best perinatologist I've ever been to. I had a really hard pregnancy and he kept me hoping that it would all get better. I had several ultra sounds with his staff. They're very friendly and make you feel at ease. Dr. Abdella gives a paper for your progress that shows how far along you are and the estimated weight and length of your child. It's really something you can add to your scrap book. He's always very calm and makes you feel the same. He's well versed and is able to answer all your questions with ease. Overall the best experience I've ever had with a Doctor.
My Dad for years had bought fuel from this company. They usually have diesel and gasoline. The only bad thing is you have to be a member to purchase fuel there. Mostly they have big farm accounts that buy fuel there every month. They are pretty good at working with people on payments.
Known to the locals as Majestic Mart with it's mountainous mural painted on the side of the building. This little gas station/convenience store is right off of Highway 91 right outside of Downey. The cashiers are friendly and there's a pretty nice selection. It has been family owned since I was a little girl.
Downey is a very small town in rural Idaho. It only inhabits 650 people. But the Bannock County Fair is there every year. Downey Food Center is working hard at trying to keep up with the times. They have fresh produce, a deli, and a pretty good selection of most of the things you would need from a grocery store. The prices are pretty reasonable for it being the only grocery in town. The help is friendly and there to answer any questions.
It seems like in the middle of nowhere and then there's this little old gas station with country appeal. The restrooms are always clean. There's a restaurant with truck stop variety. Breakfast is served 24 hrs a day. The food is always hot. It's kid and family friendly. The waitresses are always friendly and ready to make suggestions. There's also a hotel for those late nights that you just can't make it another mile.
Although the choices are the same every day. The food is always fresh and there's an option to have sushi made while you wait. They also have pizza for the kids that aren't really into chinese food. There's a pretty good variety of fruit in stock. You can see the chef's in the kitchen cooking the food so there aren't any surprises. Sometimes they have problems with the ice cream machine.
I've only been here once, but the service was wonderful. They got our food out fast. And it was kid friendly. It's a little diner type place. The menu has lots of different choices for all 3 meals of the day. It's well worth the stop.
Known by the locals and frequenters as the Green T, this cowboy karaoke bar and grill is on it's own lot close to theaters and the Pine Ridge Mall. There's a dance floor for those who want to dance. The bar tenders aren't the most knowledgeable, but they seem to know what they're doing. You really feel like you've walked into a country cowboy bar.
Close to many businesses on Center St. is this colorful bar with the rainbow flag and acceptance of anyone 21 or over. The warm atmosphere with pool tables, drinks, and some nights of karaoke this is a night life must. With Brandy as your bouncer/door greeter you're sure to have a safe and secure experience.
Nestled in this little corner is a gym with a swimming pool and all the equipment that a person could need for work outs. If you're lucky you'll be greeted by Kathleen, with her long red hair and her joyful demeanor it really makes the work out experience something to look forward to. It's a hop skip and a jump to Pocatello High School and it's in old town so it's not a long walk from many close businesses. There's a pool with an adjacent hot tub. There is also a dry sauna, a wet sauna, and a menthol room for those who just want to breathe in the refreshment. The only down side is children aren't allowed in the pool. But there's a childcare on the premises.
