Woof & Warp Fabrics

Woof & Warp fabricshas been in Long Beach for a number of years-At least 20.They have a beautiful selection of fabrics, alot of them decorator fabrics for the home. I always enjoy visiting there to see the samples of pillows, bedding, and home furnishings made from the fabrics that are sold in the store. Its a great place to get ideas. If you are looking for unique fabrics and trims, this is the place for you. It's a bit pricey, but a great variety that you won't find at some of the less expensive chain fabric stores.

Linn's Gourmet Goods

The Linn family started a farm business growing Olallieberries on California's Central Coast in1976. Linn's Gourmet Goods, Bridge St. Cambria offers all of Linn's own products, gourmet foods and gifts, as well as fresh and frozen pies and other baked goodies. They also have dried fruits and nuts, fruit preserves, butters and jellies. You can also pick up a fresh baked pie or a frozen pie to take home and bake. Another favorite is the "more fruit, less sugar" line of preserves that they make.
Also, take a trip out Santa Rosa Creek Road to Linn's Oringinal Farm Store. You can actually see the Olallieberries growing ! This store offers a wide variety of the jams and jellies as well as pie and other gourmet foods. They have cute mini-pies that you can sit outside in their garden and enjoy.

Linn's Restaurant

Linn's has been a Cambria tradition for years. The Linn family is well known for their preserves and fresh baked pies. A speicaltyof theirs is the Olallieberry Pie and preserves. The downtown restaurant has reopened after a fire 2 years ago. Its a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday brunch. The pot pies, chicken and seafood dishes are especially good.

Fountain Valley Music Center

Fountain Valley Music is a smaller, more personal store than some of the larger chains. They have a big selection of sheet music. My son got his first acoustic guitar there for free when we sgned up for a series of lessons.

West Wing

The West Wing is a great little clothing store on Balboa Island.
It caters to a hip and younger crowd. Great shoes and purses. Also they have cute clothes that are very reasonable. Recently, my daughter bought some linen pants that they feature in the store. They are great quality like their other clothes. The key word for this store is reasonable. The clothes look designer but the prices are not.

Mitchell C. Austin, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Austin's for 9 years. He is one of the best rhumatologists in the Newport Beach area. My arthritis has been under control fairly well under his care. Dr. Austin is up to date with the latest treatments and medications for Rhumatoid arthritis. His office staff is very friendly and can get you in for an appointment quickly when needed.

Los Primos Cantina

I have gone to many mexican restaurants, and this tiny place takes the cake! Their portions are huge, and prices are very reasonable. My personal reccomendation is the vegetarian burrito with a side of chips and salsa, that way if your enormous burrito falls apart, you have a wonderful dip! The staff is very nice, as well!

Massimo's Pizza

This resteraunt is a wonderful place to take the kids or watch a football game. They have a great lunch special, and their salads are fabulous.The staff there is so polite, and it has such a quaint and friendly place! 5 stars!

Mosun Sushi Saki Bar & Night

Mosun Sushi & Saki Bar is known for its great specials.
Thurs & Saturday are $5 sushi rolls. Wednesday and Friday 1/2 off whole menu (excluding drink). Monday nights -all you can eat sushi for $20.
The crunchy rolls and the miso soup are the best!

The restaurant is dcorated in an urban gothic style (lots of red, black & white) They have 2 big screen TV's that they play Japeanese movies sports on big game nights.

Rachel's

Rachel's is a very cute clothing store for teens and young women. The owner has a great inventory of inexpensive but cute dresses, tops, shoes and accessories. Its a great place for a last minute outfit! Most of the items are under $35.
We really enjoy the mini tube tops in a variety of colors that you can wear under a low cut shirt or dress. They add a spladh of color as well as covering up a plunging neckline.
Rachel's has cute shoes and sandals as well, moderately priced and in the latest style that young women crave without blowing the budget.
