405 Storage is located off the 405 freeway at El Segundo Blvd. The facility is impeccable. The staff is extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this business.

Ayres Hotel Manhattan Beach/Hawthorne

This hotel is a definite winner. The rooms are spacious and meticulous. Comfortable but with a European luxury. The staff is incredibly helpful and being a family owned hotel chain, they take pride in little details. They offer many facilities for meetings, weddings just about any type of event. The restaurant has delicious food and the staff is very well trained. There is a private dinning room that serves 16-20 people that can be reserved. A lovely location overlooking the courtyard.
Even though it is off the 405 Freeway, the hotel is just about sound proof. There are a few restaurants that you can walk to and you are a short drive to the Beach.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

Cafe Pierre

Cafe Pierre is a family owned restaurant which offers consistently high quality food. The menu offers an array of items so that they can please just about any palate. The bar area is comfortable and the bartenders are friendly and the drinks are great. The pumpkin ravioli's are the best with an amazing cream sauce. The only drawback for me is the decor since remodeling. Red table clothes and red walls is not as relaxing of an atmosphere as previous times.

Hillside Pharmacy

Visiting Hillside is like a blast to the past. The closest thing to a neighborhood general store. If you are getting a prescription filled, usually you are greated very quickly by a pharmacy assistant. In the front of the store you will find an array of gift items, cards, wrapping paper and the list goes on. All of the employees are friendly and helpful. My dog was ill and they were able to compound the ingredients and make the prescription for my dog. You may even spot the owners beautiful standard poodle when visiting.

Manhattan Express Tailor

I have been fortunate enough to have been going to Manhattan Express Tailors for many years. It is worth driving a few extra miles to their Hermosa Beach Location from Manhattan Beach, because you will always be welcomed by the owner with a smile. The service is quick and the quality of service is always perfection.

Raya Skin Care Salon And Spa

I was fortunate enough to be referred to Raya's by some ladies who work in the entertainment industry. After the very first facial, I understood why they kept raving that Raya's was the best in L.A. It is worth the 40 minute drive from the southbay to Hollywood. I am constantly receiving compliments about my skin and I can see the improvement after one of my facials. The products are all made by Raya's husband who is a chemist and they are extremely affordable and have the best scents of any products I've tried. Treat yourself to Raya's...you deserve it.

The Massage Spot, a mini day spa

The Massage Spot has a relaxing atmosphere and you definitely get your monies worth. The personnel seems highly qualified and the location is great! Many different types of massage are available.

Valentino's

Since moving to California, my family has consistently ordered from Valentinos. They have two locations, one in Manhattan Beach and one in El Segundo. Both restaurants always get the orders correct and delivery is always within 35 minutes or less, and is delivered hot!

I have been a client of Lohr Insurance Agency for 19 years. The office staff is consistently helpful and professional. Quick turnaround on any questions you may have. The owner Helene Lohr is a Manhattan Beach Chamber member and is involved in the community, therefore, has a wealth of knowledge about not only her profession, but the entire Southbay area.

I have had numerous opportunities to rent cars from the Manhattan Beach location. The staff are very friendly and the service is consistently good. There is never a long wait time either to be picked up or dropped off. If they don't have the model of car you want, they will do their best to find something else that will work for you. Very competitive pricing as well.
