Oilwell Materials has a very helpful staff that is always available to help you lift, load or deliver your order. They offer a senior discount (if you ask for it) and have lots of decorative items that catch your eye as you are looking for furnace filters or sprinkler valves.
Heavenly Boutique has a variety of items from dressy jeans to more formal wear. They also have sweaters, dresses, dress hats and lovely belts and purses. The staff is very helpful.
Located within the gates of Trilogy Adult Community and adjacent to the golf course, Nines hosts a very nice restaurant and bar area. They serve lunch and dinner and once a month they have a Sunday brunch. They have recently reduced their prices and have made some improvements to the menu. The views are very nice.
I must go to Mirror Pond Gallery each time I am in Bend. They have all handmade items and artwork, as well as jewelry. I always find just that special item to bring home with me. And I use a small wooden salad bowl daily that my brother purchased for me one year after I commented on it. Wonderful setting and very nice staff.
This wonderful shop has the most unique items. You can always be sure to get the most up to the minute style from here, and the prices can be pretty reasonable. I try to go in each time I visit Bend and usually go home with something new.
Had dinner on the patio overlooking the Lewis River on a Friday night and the food was wonderful. Came back the next afternoon for a wedding and the setting outdoors was beautiful and nicely set up. The reception dinner was held upstairs and the food was so delicious and so much better than expected for such a large group. The staff was courteous and prompt in refilling empty platters as needed. The golf course looks beautiful and would love to go back to try it. My friends went back a third night for dinner because the experience the 2 previous nights had been so positive.
This is the most charming B&B, with the most gracious host and hostess. The rooms were carefully decorated, the great room was comfortable and the breakfasts were the very best you could imagine. Several of us stayed there for a couple of nights while attending a wedding and Barb and Darrell couldn't have been more accommodating. The B&B has a deck that looks out over the Lewis River and they have fishing available if you so desire, or Mt. St. Helens is not far up the road, or you can just sit and read a book and look at the river. They provided wine and cheese in the evening as well. This is a must-stay if you are in the area, and if you aren't, consider making it a destination.
This has to be my favorite restaurant. No matter how often I go there the chef always surprises with a new twist to a favorite dish. The ostrich is excellent, as is the french dip sandwich, and the heirloom tomato salad during the summer is a palate pleaser. Wonderful outdoor area, as well as large and small booths inside. Very popular so be prepared to wait unless you made reservations.
Charming converted home at the edge of St. Helena, with a beautiful attached garden. The food is the highest quality and a wonderful place to visit for a special lunch or dinner.
Cute little shop in an old, 1917 Odd Fellows Lodge building. There are tours 7 days a week of the candy making process starting with the cocoa bean into chocolate by guides dressed as Willy Wonka.
There is of course, a retail shop selling specialty coffee drinks and ice cream sundaes and candies made at the factory.
