Red Cat is a great find - though it can get very loud and crowded. Food is excellent and location is convenient to west side promenade. Been here many times.
here's a place that seems to be a dying breed - small, neighborhood, old world restaurant feel to it. Food was good and service very attentive. no tourists here!
Great decor - not what you would expect on 2nd Avenue. Menu has lots of variety - not just sushi. Have come here many times and never been disappointed.
Here's a place where you can purchase fish to make at home (though prices are a bit high) or sit a table for a bite. We've only had oysters at the bar which were great - dining at the tables seems a bit tight.
Came here for son's 17th birthday since he's a steak lover. Food was very good and good atmosphere for conversation. Were told that ingredients for salad came from Chef's garden.
Always a favorite of ours (and others based on the crowds who go here). Great neighborhood place with excellent sushi. Can have a long wait to be seated for table.
Went here for daughter's 14th B-day with couple of her friends (she's an Iron Chef fan so knew she's appreciate the place). Unfortunately, place was so loud that we could barely hear the person next to us. Menu was limited and food was good but nothing special.
fun, relaxed bar area and restaurant next to it - good, small burgers and calamari is great too. Upstairs outdoor bar area a real treat to find in this city.
Very large space and can get a bit loud. Good seafood but portions tend to be on the small size with high pricetags. Overall, nice ambiance and fun space to be in.
We always go here for very good sushi. Small space but have done a nice job with decor and lighting. Service very good and attentive. Highly recommend it!
