McKenzie Pub has a wonderful breakfast menu. Definitely not for those watching their weight! Unfortunately it can be smoky at times, which keeps us from going more frequently.
A Stitch In Time
A Stitch in Time Tailoring has been a life saver in sewing on patches for most of my daughter's soccer team. They have a great location in the heart of Old Town Sherwood, and they have great service and reasonable prices.
Davidson's Casual Dining
Davidson's is a nice place to take the family for a casual meal. They have home style cooking, and a wide variety on the menu. Reasonable prices, friendly service, nice dessert selection.
Gramma's Place
Gramma's has it all. Gorgeous flower baskets, delicious berries, outdoor decor. There are also fun fall activities at their pumpkin patch, our favorite being the pumpkin launcher. Worth a stop any time of year.
Baggenstos Farm
This is a fun local pumpkin patch with lots to do for big and small. Great corn maze that you can explore at night on Friday and Saturdays. Great place for school field trips. Friendly family atmosphere.
Wine Country Antiques
As with any antique mall, you never know what you'll find. This is an old house turned antique mall, with a nice selection of fun stuff. Located right by the Newberg Library.
Ye Olde Pizza Shoppe
Some friends that live in Newberg introduced us to Ye Olde Pizza Shoppe a few years back. Good pizza, big screens, and lots of fun if you have younger kids. There is a nice play area w/games and a little merry-go-round. Fast service.
Glamour Nails
Recently had a pedicure done here when I was in a hurry and it was satisfactory. While the environment was not as nice as another such larger business in town, the pedicure was just as good. The main thing I liked, however, was that they did not constantly pressure you into additional services. That alone will likely keep me coming back!
Sesame Donuts
Our favorite at Sesame Donuts are the donut holes. 12 for $1.00, a great after school snack for the kids. Great location right next to the library. Friendly service and great variety.
Chopsticks Restaurant
Discovered Chopsticks about 15 years ago and love to stop by to grab some food whenever we're in the area. They have good food and great prices. Our favorite is the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Yum! They have great combination meals as well. NOT a sit down restaurant, but great food to go. Extremely nice local owners.
