I was middle-aged before deciding to take the plunge and have my ears pierced. I talked to friends and did some looking around and then talked to the people at Piercing Pagoda. I went back a few days later and had them done. The people there were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Before I knew it, both ears were done. (And to ease my nerves, they gave me a stuffed toy puppy -- with pierced ears -- to hold!) I had no problems at all afterwards.
My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Mowbray -- I was pleased with the courtesy and professionalism of the office staff as well as of Dr. Mowbray. I returned to him after he treated my original concern to have a full check-up for skin cancer.
I was referred to Dr. O'Sullivan by my Primary Care Physician. I have been very pleased with the caring, friendly, professional treatment I have received. When I have had questions or concerns, she takes the time to explain things.
Just what we were looking for in an Italian restaurant -- small, cozy, no fancy decorations. They have home-cooked, delicious pasta, and the service is friendly.
For thirty years I've been going to one dentist, who is wonderful. However, because of my insurance, I went to Dr. Fox -- once. My first encounter with his office was with the receptionist, who had totally messed up my appointment time. So I had to reschedule for another day. I wish I hadn't. I have never experienced so much pain during a simple teeth-cleaning. I cannot imagine how painful an extraction or filling would have been! I went back to my regular dentist, even though he wasn't covered by my insurance. (One positive comment -- his office was immaculately clean!)
This is THE place to bring needleworkers visiting from out of town -- or to visit on your own. So many stores have dropped cross-stitch and needlepoint, but Old Town Needlework still carries lots of patterns, canvases, fabrics, fibers, and other goodies. They specialize in southwestern designs but carry all sorts of themes. They also do framing and have classes, trunk shows, retreats, etc.
BSA manages to keep our ancient little copier running. They service and sell supplies for Gestetner/Savin/Ricoh, Kyocera Mita, and Xerox. When I call for service they always respond promptly, are pleasant and knowledgeable, and get the problem solved.
We had a large wasps' nest in a tree right next to our pre-school's playground. This was not something we wanted to ignore, nor something we wanted to tackle on our own, especially with small children nearby. The technician from The Bee Keeper came over immediately and sprayed the nest. The wasps died and never rebuilt.
Burt-Burnett have been keeping the air conditioners and heating going at my church for years! They respond quickly, especially if the problem is in our nursery, so the little ones don't freeze or get too hot. Very reliable!
Several years ago the Post Office changed their requirements for sending Bulk Mail. They require special strapping, and most of what you can buy at your local office supply store uses plastic buckles which cause trouble and aggravation. Then someone told me about Mail Things. They have much simpler straps, which also cost a lot less than what we had been paying. They carry all sorts of straps, tabs, labels and other mail room supplies. Their service is quick and efficient.
