I have been a customer's at Mother's for years but I will never go back. I bought something that cost about $4 and gave the cashier $20. She was chatting with a couple of co-workers the whole time and proceeded to give me change as if I had given her $5. When I asked for my correct change she insisted I only gave her $5. She asked me to write my number down so they can call me when they count out her box. RIGHT, I insisted she call a manager who decided they may as well count since the cashier was off in 5 minutes. Lucky me, 10 minutes later, the manager comes out and hands me the correct change with a complacent "sorry" . Well, sorry won't do, I refuse to shop there ever again.
Jason's is a very nice little steak and seafood restaurant. Ate here while on a business trip and had the 8 oz bistro steak with limebutter, garlic mashed potatoes, and crispy onions. My friend enjoyed his scallops dinner. The service was good and fast. I also enjoyed the decor, it had a modern art feel.
This is another favorite lunch spot for my office. It's very small but service is excellent and you can call ahead for take out. Try the chicken teriyaki or the beef bowl, both are excellent. Prices are cheap too!!
This is a favorite place for lunch at our office and have been coming here for years. They have great fish and chips, of course, and their California burger comes with avocado and is excellent. It's mostly outdoor seating but the patio is heated when it gets cold and the service is good.
This is a Japanese style curry so it's not spicy. It's very casual and the service is quick. They have good lunch specials that run 6 to 7 bucks. I recommend the beef curry.
We didn't stay at the lodge but we did stop for lunch on the way from Jackson to Yellowstone. The Pioneer Grill is like a 50s style diner where everyone sits at the counter. The counters are horseshoe shaped and all interconnected. The food was diner style and good but the fun part is being able to interact with everyone who seems to be visiting from everywhere.
They have fresh Japanese food with lots of choices from teriyaki to sashimi. There's a very small eating area but we prefer to call ahead and take out. Their miso soup is good and accompanies each meal and the portions are big.
I needed to have my beautiful bridesmaid's dress to be hemmed here. I needed about 10 inches removed plus it was a double skirt thing with a slip so it was alot of work. I believe I paid $ 35 for this but it was done in a timely manner and I was very happy with the result!
It's not just pizza, Tootsies also has a coffee shop with great burgers and salads. Very casual and cheap. We found out that Tootsie is the owner's fluffy, white dog whose picture is actually outside to welcome you!
Our favorite Chinese restaurant in Jackson. Meals are served family style, really good flavors, not Americanized. This is a small mom and pop run place so the service is excellent.
