Carolina Pregnancy does a lot of good work but my complaint with them is that they only teach abstinence. I think it's one thing to encourage it but they should be able to provide family planning services that are for everyone and not just those with the same Biblical beliefs.
Greenville MRI is very costly -- BUT they do a great job with payment plans. I've been there twice once for my back and then another time for my foot. The one on my back was my first MRI and I was so nervous that I shook the first two cycles. They were very nice and understanding and simply repeated the procedure.. Iwas thankful they were so understanding as I'm sure it 's something they deal with frequently so they could have been rude about it.
and caring! She has always taken time to listen and make solid recommendations. I've never felt rushed with her and I've always felt like she's listened to my needs and concerns. She's a great doctor that I'd recommend to anyone!
I like ECU Physicians but be prepared for a medical student. If you don't have insurance they will work with you -- staff are nice but some can be moody, they need some team building I think. Overall okay, just be prepared for a resident or other student.
I went here to check on prices, etc... and there wasn't a clinician on site all of the time, just a laser tech so I was a little put off by that. They had comperable prices but I was not really into the lack of a clinician on site.
Stephen Huneck's store/gallery is really cool and has a lot of neat things -- but be prepared to fork over a couple paychecks. It's high priced. Mugs there were about $2 higher than at other gift shops in Stowe. He did have a lot of art that was signed and numbered available but it wasn't worth the money for me. It was a really neat stop though and they had a resident older dog and a puppy to greet us. :)
We stayed at the Stowe Inn in October and loved it. We had a room in the carriage house so it was all private. They have homemade quilts on the beds and have a great breakfast with waffles and organic yogurt.
I went to Shaw's in October and picked up some maple candy. They have all sorts of things from shoes to scarves to magnets and candies. It was a neat shop and they have lots and lots of stuff packed in there. Prices are pretty reasonable. They have some good brands.
We went to Pie Casso in October and split a regular sized pizza. It was perfect for two hungry people for lunch. The staff was really nice and the inside was cozy. We sat by the window so we could see the road and trees. It was really nice. They have a good selection of beer too.
If you like hot dogs, this is your place! I don't eat red meat but tasted a small (read: tiny) bite and it was good. Prices were really reasonable! It's a good stop if you need a good bite to eat.
