Celias
Had my husband's birthday dinner here. Great place to get a bunch of friends and have some margaritas. Festive atmosphere, no worries about being noisy. Food is pretty good, prices are not bad.
Quinn-Chen, Deborah, Md - Peninsula Women's Health
Dr. Quinn-Chen is an excellent OB/GYN in the Bay Area. I was a patient of hers for a few years and she is gentle, caring, and a great listener. Great for annual checkups--I'm sure she would be excellent as your OB provider as well. Office staff is sweet, parking not so great.
Zigrang William MD
You could not ask for a better endocrinologist than Dr. William Zigrang. I don't think there is anything that this man does not know about endocrinology. Absolute top of his field. Great bedside manner. Staff is professional and kind. Parking can be somewhat of a problem unless you have a very early appointment. A++
Claudio A Bet Inc: Donald B Nichols, MD
Dr. Nichols is another great physician in the Bay Area. He shares an office with Dr. Claudio Bet, so no matter who you see at the office you are guaranteed great care. Will listen and not rush you through an appointment. Again, staff is fantastic and scheduling is accomodating.
Claudio A. Bet, MD
Dr. Bet is a fantastic physician with a great bedside manner. Very thorough and professional. Not afraid to refer you to a specialist if he can't figure out your problem. Staff is great, very flexible with appointments. Highly recommended.
Michael S. Cohen, MD
I was referred to Dr. Cohen after having severe unexplained headaches. He is very kind, professional, and thorough. Staff is great. Waiting room is somewhat small, so don't bring kids, strollers, etc. Recommended.
Peter's Cafe
Comfort food alert! Everything on the very extensive menu at Peter's is delicious. Prices are reasonable, portions are large. Peter is usually there in person. Parking can be hairy as the restaurant is usually packed. Open 24 hours though, so no excuses!
Mr Pickles Sandwich Shop
When I first went to this Mr. Pickles, it was great. They had huge fresh sandwiches and a wide selection of drinks. You must try the Dutch Crunch bread.
Tad's Steak Restaurant Inc
OK food, a little pricey, but that's what you get if you want the convenience of eating in Union Square. Cafeteria style setting. Weirdly decorated in 1890's style.
Lefty O'doul's
Located right off Union Square. This is one of those cafeteria style restaurants where they have the giant roasts and turkeys and cut a piece off for you right there. Cheap and tasty. Like stepping back in time (just go there and you'll know what I mean).
