Real Life Cafe is a small coffee shop on the corner of Richmond & Buckius Sts in the middle of Bridesburg across from the Rec Center. The cafe is cute and their coffee & treats are good and well priced. Although they recently raised their prices for economic reasons, but even then they only raised i$0.25
I went to Trilby for a friend's college graduation party and I had a great time. Trilby is a great size for a small to medium sized party. They have one long room that is broken up into two rooms so that in one room you can have dancing & music and in the other you can have people hanging out & talking. Its a great place for a party or a get together.
A cute well-run hair salon by a resident of Bridesburg. Creations has affordable prices, great hairdressers and good hair designs & styles! Definitely a good place for a haircut or an updo.
A great little bar on the other side of Bridesburg. The Blue Moon is located on Richmond St and easily accessible from the area. Parking is like most places in philly - a pain! The inside is nice with a big oval bar. The interior is small, but in an intimate way, not cramped.
The panzarotti's are definitely the reason to go there. They are fabulous, and you can have them filled with whatever filling you want. On Tuesday's they have a special for $2.
I wouldn't say that DiVincenzo's is the best pizza I've ever had, but its definitely not "just okay pizza". The pizza is good, the prices are good and the slices are big.
Fran Lee consistently offers good food and a good atmosphere for an affordable price. Most venues offer their services, but for a steep price. Fran Lee is a fair sized place and can house an intimate party to a large gathering.
The Wellness Center is also a teaching center, so for a smaller price, they have their students learn on you. When I went the price was $30/hr, which is really great for a massage. The area was clean and private and the instructor walked around to oversee.
I went here for a usual check-up for my first time. Everyone was extremely nice, especially the doctor. Dr Kresloff (the younger one) was extremely thorough and sweet. I will definitely be going back.
The sweets are to die for, and thankfully I have to walk a LONG 3 blocks to get to them, otherwise I'd be there on my lunch break every day. They also offer homemade ice cream which is to die for. The ladies who work there are very nice and even offered me & my coworkers 4 ice creams for the price of 2. how sweet.
