We were very disappointed with this daycare. They boast of a universal pre-K and excellent Christian staff, but we really didn't feel that was accurate. The person in charge seemed more concerned with their reputation than on the kids and what was really going on in the classrooms. I wouldn't recommend them at all.
If you are looking for collectible hand-made items, this shop is a must-see in Asheville. They carry folk pottery, traditional crafts, face jugs and other collectibles. We found rugs, quilts, jams, jellies, paintings, woodwork, pottery and more. The toy section was amazing. The quality is top-notch and there is something for everyone. I highly recommend the craft center to any collector!
This ski resort is very convenient to both Asheville, NC and Johnson City, TN. It took us about 30 minutes to get there from Asheville, and another 30 to get to Johnson City.
The resort is great. The accomodations are very nice -though a little pricey.
The skiing is good. They only cater to those ages 5 & up though, so there wasn't anything for our little guys to do.
They have great hours and offer great packages and group deals.
This stable is located just outside of Asheville, NC in the Wolf Laurel Preserve. It has over 20 miles of trails in some of the most beautiful woods I've ever seen. The guides are experts and love what they do. The creeks and mountain vistas can't be beat.
Pros - it's beautiful and the guides are great, very convenient to Asheville, 7 days a week
Cons - cost, only open April - October
We have looked for a good realty company in the Asheville area for three years. We finally found one that stands head and shoulders above the rest. This agency has over 215 realtors in the Asheland Street office. The realtor that worked with us was obviously very highly skilled and had a lot of training. She was wonderful. The office is clean and spacious and the realtors are available at any moment to talk. They are wonderful about calling back promptly if they miss your call. They take their time with you and help you find exactly what you are looking for.
This store has it all - leather goods (some custom made), hats, boots, saddles, riding equipment, carhartt and levi clothing, and western & english riding apparel. They are conveniently located on Patton Avenue near downtown and just off the 240 exit 3 ramp. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a huge selection in their store and the prices are very reasonable.
Very convenient location near the Verrazano Bridge - Brooklyn side. Fairly flat course. Nice fairway and greens. The managers of the course do a great job and are very customer-oriented. The clubhouse is under construction. Very expensive - but par for the city golf courses.
This old farm was turned into a golf course. Even an average golfer can score really well on this golf course. This is a great place for local outings from NYC. $30 range including cart - so a good bargain.
This golf course has very nice fairways and nice greens. They have nice, clean, well-stocked bathrooms. Water is supplied on most holes. Their tee boxes need some improvement. Their prices are very reasonable.
The fairways at Silver Lake Golf Course are very close together. It is a very short course. The course has improved some over the years, but it's still not worth the cost of playing there.
