We've used Genova's a few times during our trips through Spring Grove. The pizza is always fresh and hot and it's always ready when promised. The prices are great and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend this pizza stop!
Although their prices are a bit higher on some of the everyday things, the service and convenience more than make up for it! They run great specials and you can find some great bargains in there. The employees are very friendly and helpful. If they are out of something in the display they are more than willing to go in the back and try to find it for you. We always use Kennie's during our trips through Spring Grove and we've never had a problem.
This is your typical Roanoke Valley Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa are great. The meals are inexpensive and very tasty. The service is friendly and efficient. They are very quick to bring you your meal. The location is great - very easy to visit on your lunch break from the hospital or other location in SW Roanoke.
Famous Anthony's is always convenient, offers good service, has unbeatable prices, and has a great selection of good food! Breakfast is a favorite, with several value meals. Lunches and dinners are great as well. It's always a good deal and a great meal!
We have used Richie Wismer at Prinzi and Company for several years for our tax prep. He has done a wonderful job and is very knowledgeable about all aspects of tax prep. His office is conveniently located and he has extended hours during tax season. Refunds are processed very quickly... we usually get something within 2 weeks. All of the paperwork is very neat, professional and easy to understand. Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Prinzi & Co if you are looking for someone to help you file your taxes.
If you want to get into camping but are a little unsure about it - the Natural Bridge campground is a good place to start! There are lots of activities available. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The prices are great. The location is quiet and has the "remote" feel to it - but you are just minutes from all of the area attractions. It's very convenient.
We visit Polar Caves every other year. It's always enjoyable for the kids and the adults who don't mind climbing all of those stairs! The caves are a lot of fun to explore - but there are some tight squeezes and the dark can be spooky for younger children.
BE PREPARED when you go to the park to participate in strenuous activity. If you have knee problems or are claustrophobic - this probably isn't the park for you.
There is a neat little gift shop further up towards the top of the park. There is also a nature trail. There are several trails to choose from as you make your way through the park. This always adds bonus entertainment for our kids as they see who can go which way.
The caves and park are a lot of fun. The admission fee is moderate. There is PLENTY of parking.
Top Tomato is a very popular spot for produce in Great Kills, but I've always found it to be a little too pricy and not the cleanest store in the area. They have a lot of hard-to-find produce, which is a plus, but you'll definitely pay for it!
The store also offers grocery staples like bread, milk and eggs. The prices are again higher than elsewhere in the area.
This company has SO many items to choose from for child care - diapers, bottles, wipes, formula, clothing, soaps, lotions, first aid supplies, feeding supplies, and so much more!
We started using them because of the sheer number of boxes of diapers we were going through with twins - and how difficult it was to get out to the store every week to buy diapers and things.
They offer free home delivery when you purchase $50 or more. They accept manufacturer coupons. Their website is VERY easy to use. The customer service is wonderful.
This company is such a blessing for families with multiples!!!
If you are looking for pizza and a movie - Napoli is great. It's right next to a local cinema. The prices are great. The pizza isn't the best in the area - but it's okay. There are several tables inside but it can get pretty crowded during peak hours.
