This is a very small floral shop. I stopped by on my way home for cash and carry flowers and found the selection very small. I saw the books on the counter full of arrangements, so I know they have the ability to do many arrangements, they just don't have much made up for cash and carry. The staff was very friendly though, and the flowers I purchased were beautiful.
I used this florist to send a funeral arrangement recently. Their prices were a little high, but the work was good, and they responded on very short notice.
This is a little out of place in old Overland Park, but you'll enjoy the small plates and cheap wine selections they offer. The wait staff is very friendly and you can actually take any wine you don't finish home (they have special boxes).
I was recently in town for a deposition and stayed at this hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and gave me the insight on things to do in the area (I took in a minor league baseball game across the street). The rooms were large, breakfast was free, and I was very happy with my stay.
Although the hotel is still experiencing renovations, the parts that have been finished are breathtaking. The grand hall is large enough for the biggest weddings and everyone can just stay at the hotel after. It's located in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of most of the attractions.
The Hermitage Hotel has been restored to its original glory after a recent multi-million dollar renovation. The lobby is an incredible collection of stained glass and marble columns. The rooms are a little on the small side, but very nice.
This Marriott is located right on the waterfront and you can rent a boat to go out for the day from the marina. The rooms are nice, the amenities are great, and you'll find a friendly staff.
This motel is located just off Interstate 35 and right down the street from the Mall and Wal-mart. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance, including an Applebees and a Golden Corral. Nice hotel for the price.
If you're in Dodge City to see the sights, this is a great home base. It's located just blocks from the Boot Hill Museum and all downtown Dodge City has to offer. You'll also get a free breakfast.
Hays is a college town, but a night on the town is pretty laidback here. T Bone Sports Bar has a dance floor, friendly bartenders and nightly drink specials.
