Nails 2000 is a classy nail salon located on Route 10 in East Hanover. The staff is so personable and remembers you when you walk in. The area is clean and the manicurists do a great job. The prices are good but a little on the expensive side. Sometimes they try to pressure you to get more done so let them know exactly what you want. They are known for giving discounts to regualrs. I highly recommend Nails 2000.
If you looked up deli in the dictionary, you would find a picture of East Hanover Deli. The furniture is can tell you a story and the staff is like your childhood friends. The food is great and reasonably priced. The only drawbacks are the hours, it closes very early, and the fact that they do not accept credit cards. I highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches.
Touch of Class hair salon is some what of a "hole in the wall". The atmosphere is sub par and some what dated. I have been going here for two years for the simple fact that the stylist always get it right. I have never left the salon trying to figure out what to do with my hair. Gigi, the owner, is very talented but doesn't have time to take every customer so one usually has to work with someone else. I recommend Touch of Class to women with typical African American hair.
Happy Nails in East Hanover is really no different from any other nail salon in the area. I have always been satisfied with the the end result of my manicure or pedicure. The only negative I can find about this location is that the staff is not as attentive as they should be. When you walk you have to wait to be serviced. I have seen people walk out because they wait was too long.
Altamura is a quaint, Italian bakery located on a residential street in Bayonne. The goods are great here and I highly recommend the cheeseless pizza. I forget the proper name but it is great. The bakery is family owned so you definitly feel the love. I highly recommend it.
I went to Nice Touch Driving School for a six hour course in an effort to improve my road skills. The location is difficult to find and the atmosphere is not very inviting. The instructors know what they are doing but are not likely to keep your attention. It is one of the only driving schools in the town which is convenient. If you have to go to driving school, I'm sure Nice Touch isn't the worst around.
I have been going to Park Avenue Pediatrics since I was an infant. For as long as I can remember, Dr. Thomas and her staff have been extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is organized and inviting. The only drawback is that if you are late for your appointment you will probably have to wait longer than expected.
I've visited this car wash many times either alone or along with friends. They staff is very dilligent and pays attention to any request you might have about your car. The best part of the business is that you get to sit inside your car as it goes through the spray, wash and wipe cycles. The prices are competitive as well. I recommend East Hanover Car Wash for quality service.
I visited this Hooters location several times with no complaints. The food is typical Hooters cuisine complete with nachos, wings, and drinks all around. The atmosphere is tacky, as the famous tee shirts explain. The staff is very nice and personable. For a night out that's semi out of the ordinary, try Hooters of Wayne
Planet Gym in Florham Park is a low-key, underground gym. The facility is decent, but I have definitly seen nicer fitness centers. The equipment is in good condition and the staff is helpful. The only drawback is the price for approximately $37.00 per month you get a small gym with the bare necessities. If you want to swim, enjoy a sauna, or take group classes, Planet Gym is not for you. But if you are looking for a quick work out close to home, Planet Gym gets the job done.
