Grocery 13 Inc
Grocery 13 is a small little Market & cafe' that services the neigbohood around 13th and Chestnut street.
The managers (Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran) are nice and polite the selections for late night shopping is pretty good for such a small place.

Frank Campese Jr Esq Pc
Frank Campese is the best "Go Getter" I know as far as Lawyers are concerned and some of my referred friends think so too.
He's been my Lawyer for more than 20 years now.

Palace At The Ben
Beautiful place with its ornate dinning room and lounges, embellished with intricate designs, when you go here you immerse yourself in the ambiance of rich Indian culture and traditions while relishing the cuisine.
And it's a great place to impress your unsophisticated friends but the food is nowhere near "Tiffens takeout" in Fishtown.

Lee Hua Chines & American take out
This is a Fast food Chinese Take out Located Under the "El" at 52nd and Market streets in West Philly. I do the take out late at night when I in the area sometimes.
I like their food because they don't use M.S.G in the food and the prices are very cheap too. You have to keep you eyes open in this area.

Su Xing House
This is the Best Vegetarian Chinese food resturant in Center city. You can BYOB there and the Menu is vast.
I always get the Chef's special of the "Dragon and Phoenix (Braised black mushroom and soy bean protein on top of spinach) which costs only $13.95 it will fill you up.

Sansom Kabob House
This place is great except you have to step down into the cellar for access into place of fine Afghan Cuisine. Most people have walked right past it without even knowing that it exists!
I love the Sansom Kabob (which is a combination of Lamb, beef, and chicken marinated in spices and garlic on a skewer served with brown rice and you choice of salad and Afghan bread) which only costs $8.50.
The Sansom Kabob house is open Monday thru Friday from 11:30am to 9:30pm.

Grace Tavern
It's a low key atmosphere with a decent food menu. The blackend Green beans are terrific with the Fresh Chickn Salad.
I like this simple pub for the beer and the Flemish Ale is...different. After work it's not crowded and a nice place to relax.
They are open daily from 11:30am - 2:00am everyday.

Fergie's Pub
We've been going here for years. It's gotten progressively busier some go early. The beer list is excellent and the prices right.
I will try the frites and the sauce that goes with them the next time I go. It's a good place to take friends from out of town.

Dmitri's
I love their Greek Salads and Steamed clams and I love sitting at the very small bar in front of the Cooks station. At the Cooks station I watch in anticipation for my meals.
Dmitri's has a byo and cash only policy and it is such a small place.
There's always a line of people waiting either for a table or a seat at the bar. You must experience this place once.

Ava Restaurant
This place is good. They have a monthly changing menu promising traditional treats like oreccchiette with homemade sausage and pork tenderloin in a fig demi-glace
It's best to call for reservations and they accept Credit cards. Also you can BYOB.
