This place has an unfortunate name... but the food is really good. I used to go here with my work friends after work for dinner. The atmosphere is casual, but nice. It's not too loud. Good place for talking and eating.

I had one of the best dishes I've ever eaten here. This is a spanish tapas place where the food is out of this world. Definitely worth the trek into manhattan.
Diwan Indian Restaurant
THis is good reliable Indian food in a good business location. It's a lot more interesting than some of the other places you can go for a business lunch.
Pongal Restaurant
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the flatiron district. Great vegetarian Indian food. Really delicious dosas. I love this place.
Blue Smoke
Great spot for upscale bbq. I actually love taking the kids here. There aren't too many kids around usually, but they treat them very well (crayons, etc) and it's a fun place to go. Food is fabulous too.
Stage Deli & Restaurant Inc
Okay, so it's basically a tourist trap. But the food is actually decent. And it's fun to go there... when you have friends in from out of town... especially friends from small towns.
Japonica
I love Japonica. It's good sushi, yet much more hip than the other good sushi places around. The space is lovely. It's crowded, but what do you expect?

Dr. Kligler is really great. He helped us out during an emergency situation when we were unable to get to our normal pediatrician. He went above and beyond and made my daughter and myself feel so well taken care of and comfortable. He is extremely compassionate and kind. A real find.

Fantastic sandwiches! I used to go here all the time when I worked in that neighborhood. Oh my gosh, the egg salad with roquefort is heavenly!! And the couple who runs it is very nice too.

Dr. Pytlak is an amazing pediatrician. She is so knowledgable, but so comfortable and low key that she makes you and your kids feel totally at ease. I love her!
