It's got a simple menu where you can pick from a few featured dishes for that day. Favorite sides like black eye peas, green, mash potatoes and gravy.
Portions are good with your choice of things like fried catfish, fried chicken and the like. It's tasty and not greasy! You have to try it. It's an unexpected piece of soul food in the middle of a strip mall.
I have alot of co-workers who are temporarily transferred from Japan. They really like this sushi place and find it to be "authentic." It's not your typical sushi restaurant that I'm used with an ala carte menu and stuff.
It's small and homey--in a good way. I've only been here for lunch, but you order from a limited menu of pre-set sushi box. Don't worry they're all good though!
The food is okay for your basic Hawaiian-style stuff, but we always go for the shave ice. This is as close as you can get to Hawaiian shave ice with the variety of flavors and the delicious options of adding ice cream, azuki beans or cream. Mmmmmm.
Nice place to go for lunch or dinner. Decor is nice and the size is not too big, not too small. Love the barbeque and the kim chee variety. Service is pretty good as well.
This is an institution and has been around for years. Learned about this place from a co-worker who grew up in Gardena. Based on his raves, we checked out this place and it's true! For the best chicken tacos (and other foods as well), this is the place to go!
Don't mistake this with the other Burnt Tortilla on Artesia Blvd. This has a very different vibe and menu. This version has more basic Mexican food with better prices.
Love the portions and the chips! The burritos are good for at least two meals.
While the food is not "oh my good wonderful", there's a nice and homey feeling about getting a lunch from this place. Reasonably priced with Japanese comfort food selections.
Just make sure you call in the order beforehand, otherwise you may be stuck with a longer than wanted wait.
Our family has been using Paul for years and have been very happy with the quality of service. The fees he charges are well worth it in terms of the money he saves us in proper claims and deductions. And it's definitely worth the peace of mind knowing this is one last thing to worry about.
Located in the main food court area of Ala Moana Center, this stores has a nice selection of Harajuku Lovers and Domo characters.
It's one of those places where I enjoy buying unique gifts for friends and family.
This place has been around forever. And I'm happy to see it still surviving despite all the fancy, designer stores that have been added to this mall over the years.
If you are looking for some nice sandals or slippers, this is the place to check out.
