My family enjoys Pegasus Pizza in Kirkland! The pizza is very good and the salad we love!! Service is decent, and prices are comparable to other similar restaurants. In the winter the restaurant can be chilly, so bring your coat! We like the plain ol' canadian bacon, but have also had their fancier varieties and loved them too. I can't remember the actual name of the salad we love, but it is along the lines of an Italian chef salad as far as ingredients go . . . mmmmmm!! Just writing about it makes me hungry for Pegasus!!
I was not impressed with Perfectly Posh in Kent. The prices were high for the quality of some of the items. I was also turned off by the exterior of the building and the numerous signs that clutter the outside of the store. I won't be back.
I visited Me N Mom's consignment store recently and was not impressed, to say the least. The staff was incredibly unhelpful, not once even acknowledging my presence in the store even though they saw me walk in with my child and I was the only one in the store. The did, however, acknowledge others who entered after me. When I was finally able to seek out help, the girl was snotty and not at all friendly. The items I looked at were overly used looking, and the high chairs I looked at (my main reason for stopping in) were absolutely disgustingly dirty with caked on food and gunk. The prices for their items seemed steep based upon the quality (especially the high chair which I was able to purchase brand new at Target for $30 more!). After the unfriendly welcome, poor service, and appallingly dirty and very used looking items, I chose to leave. I will NEVER step foot back into this store and really marvel that it is still in business. I really felt that the staff must have made a judgement upon me when I entered the store as they were more than willing to help others who entered after me. If they really had known their stuff, they would have noticed I was pushing a child in a $300.00 stroller and probably had at least a few bucks to spend in their store. They really missed their mark, as I have taken my plentiful business and money to other more reputable children's consignment stores such as Heaven Sent in Federal Way.
My husband has used this cleaners several times and has been very pleased with the service he received. This store is locally owned and the man we usually deal with (I believe he is the owner) is usually friendly and pleasant to deal with.
We have taken our dry cleaning here for years and have always received the best service, both in friendliness and quality of the service provided. We have never had a problem with Bellevue Way Cleaners and would gladly continue using their services.
I really enjoy dining at the Adriatic Grill near Tacoma Mall. The food is excellent, the service very good, and the atmosphere warm and pleasant. This restaurant is locally owned, and the owner, Bill & his wife, Monique, go to great lengths to provide customers with fabulous food and a wonderful dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The prices are comparable to other nearby restaurants, but the food is far superior. This restaurant, while being quite nice, is also very kid-friendly with a little goody bag to keep kids busy, as well as dough for playing while waiting for the food to arrive. It doesn't take long for these items to be pushed aside to make room for lunch or dinner, however, as the food always arrives so quickly. The bread, balsamic, and olive oil they offer upon arrival is TO DIE FOR! As well, The Adriatic Grill offers really yummy drinks from the bar, as well as delicious iced tea!! I can't wait to go back!!
The Pumphouse has been a Bellevue staple for years and offers a good selection of food and beverages. I really like their nachos, and the iced tea is giant and good too! The service is decent and location fairly clean. At times The Pumphouse can get a bit loud, but is always a great place to go with friends who are over 21.
I love the Funky Iguana! They have the best fajitas, yummy salsa, and great service. This restaurant is locally owned, and while we always get our meal as take out, they do have a nice dining area and offer alcoholic beverages too.
My husband and I love to eat at the Roanoke on Mercer Island. Tucked into s little neighborhood, this historic little house has been situated on the same property since prohibition times. The story is, the bootleggers used to sit on the roof and watch for the ferry to arrive to smuggle their alcohol and also keep an eye on the police. No longer an illegal venture (!), this locally owned restaurant and bar boasts yummy food, good beer, and a casual atmosphere at reasonable prices. While this is not a family establishment (leave the kiddos at home), it is a great place to meet up with friends or even family! We love to send the kids to grandma and grandpa's so we can grab nachos and a beer at The Roanoke.
This is a yummy little restaurant tucked in downtown Kirkland. They have typical Mexican fare, although the tortilla soup and picco de gallo is the yummiest! The prices are average and the service is good. It is a clean restaurant as well. The bathroom are down some strange little hallway which seems like a mile away from the restaurant, but they too are nice and clean. I will definitely go back!
