We like this store because it has a lot of unique toys and interesting books. It has a lot to offer in a small space but at the same time isn't so overwhelming like a big box store.
I highly recommend Casey at Alder Creek Farms for horse back riding instruction. She is very knowledgable about the different types of riding and has good judgement of kids' skill level and picking the right horse for their level. Their facility is great- with a huge covered arena for riding and lots of land when you are ready to ride in that terrain! Loved our experience there.
We have been going to Dr. Janel Lloyd for almost 9 years with our 2 kids- a boy and a girl. She has an awesome manner with kids. She takes the time to listen to them and is genuinely interested in what they have to say. We have received good routine care and the back-up doctors have been good. We haven't had experience with serious conditions though (thankfully), but I would feel comfortable going there if that need arose.
I had a dress repaired at this shop and they did a good job. I also had a pillow-doll made by them for my daughter and it was cute. They have a fast turnaround time and a lot of business.
At Canyon Pet Clips, they will cut any pets nails- even guinea pigs! They have always done a great job on my chihuahua's nails- quick and painless. They are very friendly and the dogs we have seen waiting have been beautifully groomed. I recommend them highly.
We have rented jumping castles from All About Parties several times for kids birthday parties. They are very reliable and friendly and I would recommend them. At $80-$100 for 4 hours (could be more if you get a very large castle), this provides a lot of fun and exercise for the kids at your party and keeps them occupied!
We had to use this ambulance service. Afterwards, we got a stern letter stating that we are responsible for the bill immediately. So we paid the bill and submitted to our insurance company. The insurance company paid Rural Metro instead of us. It took one year and endless phone calls to receive the money (about $800). I would recommend not paying them directly. Contact your insurance company first.
This is a very nice place. Brand new with great equipment for learning. There is a "pit" full of soft foam stuff for the kids to fall into after trying the rings or to jump into off of the balance beam. My kids have had very good experiences taking classes there.
Kathy Withers gives a wonderful free informative tour of her working fiber ranch. She raises alpaca, angora goats and rabbits, llamas, alpacas, and several kinds of sheep and will do a spinning demo. She hand dyes and spins into yarn for purchase in her store, or you can buy fiber to spin yourself. There are also finished products
Staff were interested in helping out rather thn just making a sale. I went in ready to buy new parts on two occasions and both times the employees fixed the problem without any charge. I've always gotten good service with purchases also.
