Haven't tried their cuts or color, but they're always good for an updo for a special occasion. Maybe because they have experienced, old-fashioned beauticians, not girls new to the trad. Their prices are more than right - they're great.
Mazzi's isn't just for pizza and it's a good thing because the pizza isn't that special. But they make a wonderful lasagna dish and other italian dishes. They're a little high priced but it's a nice romantic atmosphere for a special date and good food and wine.
Mia's and Pia's serves great pizza, but it's just as good to be able to get a microbrew to go with it. In the summertime, their beer garden is a fun place to gather with the gang for a great evening of pizza and friends. I like that it's not so loud in there - you can actually have a conversation without shouting. They do a really good italian salad, too.
But it's really good. I like the big, circular firepit in the middle and their salad bar is good, too. The pizza crust has like a sesame crust and is nice and crispy. It's been around a long time and is a tradition worth keeping!
Old Town Pizza is the best place to go for great pizza and beer. The atmosphere is comfortable for small groups or even a date. It's better than that open picnic table style of others. The pizza tastes so good!
My experience at Kristi's is that they much prefer to cater to their male customers. Their selection is limited and I'm much more comfortable making a jewelry investment with one of the other stores. The staff is primarily women, who are very good at selling to men, but their service for women seems to be an annoyance.
Ricky's has been the premier jeweler in Klamath for dozens of years. They carry the best quality diamonds and gems as well as gold, silver and platinum. Their prices are a little higher than others but their knowledge is tops.
Novak's is good for getting the part you need - right now. They carry a pretty good stock and most of the parts dealers know what they're talking about. The price is comparable to the larger chain stores.
This local, family business is great about giving personal help. They've even brought out a part to where I was broken down, so I could repair it on the spot. But they don't have the biggest stock in town and end up having to special order many things. If I'm not in a hurry, I'll do that since they're such great people. Ususally there's not shipping costs. But if I"m in a rush, I have to go to a chain store.
Hanscam's is the place for hard-core bowlers. There's not alot of distractions - a nice little snack bar type restaurant and a couple of pool tables. The locker rooms are a nice place to change shoes and get ready to bowl. Mostly, the lanes are full of league bowlers most of the time. The lane and shoe rental is reasonable if you can get an empty lane. They're always busy and it is a smoking place.
